I'm up in MN and if I fish below the Mississippi powerplant that is also next to a Hydro dam, we hammer walleyes and smallmouth. Having warmer water when typically freezing water keeps their metabolism up entices the bite! Better luck on the next tournament!
Nice I’m glad you could still catch them up there during that time. I’ve been to Chicago in the Great Lakes area and that was insane during the middle of winter last year. There’s no way I would fish that lol. Thanks for watching.
The dam didnt work for me either. An angler before me caught some dinks. I also worked back to that point where the giant bird was. Maybe a white pelican? I ended up finding them on cranks @ 15 fow. Others reported c.rig on points.
