McDonald’s did nothing wrong in this situation. Each McDonald’s location is independently owned and operated as a franchise and it’s up to the franchisee to do the proper background check on the employee that would fall under a deficiency in their human resources department, but their Human Resources department is not part of McDonald’s.
It's still their name, franchised or not. They did do wrong. It's their name. That's who is responsible. Just saying. This IS law. Go googling around, youll find the truth :3
@@MrMew google is not a reputable source of information heads up. And second of all, it does waive their liability because that is textbook definition of a franchise. Lot of people make the mistake between a corporation and a franchise. They are two distinct and different entities.
@@MrMew a franchise owner is in charge of the day-to-day operations, not corporate. This would be a defect in the Human Resources department of the franchise.
