The Texas Rangers celebrated an American League Pennant on their chief rival's turf after taking the American League Championship Series over the Houston Astros 4 games to 3. This was only the second 7-game series in Major League History where the road team won every game. Rangers Pitcher Max Scherzer, strangely enough, was also the starting pitcher in Game 7 for the Washington Nationals when they won the other "home field disadvantage" series, which was the 2019 World Series. The Rangers celebrated both on and off the field at Minute Maid Park in Houston. The Astros have been to seven straight ALCS's and were the defending MLB champs. The Rangers open the World Series at home starting on Friday at 7 pm on Fox San Antonio. Max Sports was in the Rangers' locker room following Game 7. ALCS MVP Adolis Garcia was the first to be interviewed, followed by Jeff and Mary Jung, who's son Josh is having quite the eventful rookie season. First, the Rangers 3rd Baseman was named an All Star and now he's headed to the Fall Classic.
