Even as someone who enjoys Strive more as a whole I enjoy the stages much more in Xrd compared to Strive. They got a bit more of fantasy variety and makes the world seem bigger for it.
Strive is more technically visually impressive but the games aesthetics have been gutted. Even my friend who randomly looks over my shoulder and occasionally plays fighting games with me said the DNF Duel looks more like a Guilty Gear game in the menus then Strive does and such.
Strive is too "serious" in it's style where Xrd is pretty happy. Even the music reflects that with very deep and dark tracks on many of the characters in Strive compared to Xrd
@@ControlShifty cause they americanized strive for "western" audiences. They toned down the anime and sillyness. No more catchy guitar in the menu, and Leo is just what I imagine a random dude from colorado looks like. Somehow Sol looks goofier than ever tho
Thank god people still play this. They made strive bad just allow more scrubs to play, who still cry about playing, it’s hard enough with the connection issue, let alone when these trash kids don’t know how to make a private lobby and play stay away like a kindergartner
