Texas Speed cam first start in a C6 Corvette

It's all finished up and ready to start! This is a 2006 Corvette with a LS2 6 speed manual trans. The cam is a Texas Speed 233 239 at .050 .600 lift on a 112. Stay till the end for a before and after!

Sounds great, I don't think the 'exhaust drone' would be too annoying, but I could be wrong (it's happened before...& I admitted it both times).

There is no comparison from the stock sound to it sounds like with the cam and headers complete 180!

Sounds awesome with the new cam and headers! I’m liking the exhaust at idle sounds raspy! Sweet car be nice to hear interior sound on highway but great job as usual

Fantastic! That exactly what I'm looking to do in my LS3 C6. How are the noise levels in the cabin? I too have no mufflers so your before - is exactly how mine sounds.

I have the same bassani exhaust on my vette, was this one 2.5" or 3"? Also what cam was that? Btr stage 3?

.050 is where the duration is measured. I think I have this cam in stock with a 110 LSA, or I can get you this same cam.

Hello, sounds amazing, if I may ask... what would be the cost of the labor alone on a build like this? I am from PA also and looking for a very similar build?

So is it safe to start it if it's not tuned yet? I plan to do this cam, bigger injectors, bigger intake and throttle body. Would I need a tune before I start mine for the first time?

Cam only, yes you can start it. The bigger injectors will require a tune before starting though.
