I live in south Texas and have hunted deer in various parts of the country. South Texas is by FAR my favorite deer destination and always produces solid bucks.
When I bought my little 20 acres in south Texas I was so excited to hunt. First year I had all kinds of deer. 2nd year my neighbors high fenced and I’ve never seen a deer again.
You guys are awsome, I wish I was as lucky with those big bucks had a few encounters this year with a big 8 pointer, took my 10 year old daughter with me, while listening to Luke Bryant radio on spotify, you guys are awsome
Love watching you guys come together and do what you guys love, truly an inspiration to me and you definitely make me remember why I love what I love! I remember shooting my first big buck! It was a 132 inch main frame 8 with a split g2 had an had over 3 ft of mass with a 19 inside spread 5 1/2 year old buck but I am a Michigan hunter! Be sweet to see you guys come to Michigan an shoot some of our big bucks! Or even I join you guys!!! Watching you guys shoot these big bucks make me hungry to break my 132 inch mark which I set back in 2016 be safe y’all and happy happy huntin!
@@coltoncarman151 id say so! So many mature bucks. Just a average buck there is a swamp donkey around here. Lol that'll get ol boy out of the bed for sure.
Love watching these guy's. Way more than just a hunting show. Keep cranking out them vids... True hunters not like the TV liar hunters now a days. Thumbs up all day...
I wonder how many scouts are looking after that tackle! Great deer and great entertainment. Love the fact family and friends enjoying things together. Keep it up!
Nobody hunts south of Zapata. Zapata County and Webb are Deep South Texas. Hunting in the valley is not regarded as highly for whatever reason. La Perla Ranch is literally like 6 miles from the border.
I love all u guys truly I want to see a hunt no food plots no baiting I hunt in northern MN u are all celebrities go hunt in the real woods I dont have a lot of life left I am really sick love your show buddies
It’s all great and all for ya but if you live in Texas there’s very little public land to hunt and a lease costs you a left testicle or you can pay to hunt one of these awesome ranches that cost your daughters first year of college so as a Texan who’s not wealthy it sucks but great video though 👍🏻
In all seriousness these bucks are at least 1800 and up depending on the size of the rack most expensive ive seen is a ranch down the road from me asking 6k for a monster buck
I like how people are like "oh they only hunt on ranches" no they don't they hunt on ranches for the TV show public land hunts arent really good for TV because everyone wants to watch a big buck get taken. They still eat the meat they harvest from the deer so I dont have a problem with them hunting on ranches
Hunting is hunting. Deer farm, private land/lease, public land, etc. it doesn’t matter. Have money or offered a “farm” hunt; hunt it. Have private land; hunt it. It doesn’t matter, make the best of what you have and get alone with everyone😬
6k acres? Shut up until you own a 6k acre and hunt it for 10 years and go years without seeing some trophy’s in person. But keep crying. Low fence is trash.
To all of you, who claim moral superiority, and cast innuendos about like slop to a hog. Get over yourselves! Each of you, If given the opportunity and at no cost! Would jump at the chance to hunt on a Lease or Private Property. If I paid the Tab for you to hunt, at a Ranch where you could hunt *fair chase* quality, above average Deer. I dare say, less than 5 would refuse. (And only then, because I called you out on it) Managing a property is expensive, but If they're well fed, have water sources, and basic needs like bedding areas, travel corridors, cover, and protection from the weather. They have no reason to leave, and that! gives some of us another avenue for pursuing our passion, For a price. Which unfortunately, for some will prevent their participation. To offset their costs, Land Owners must charge people for access or the dream ends. It's also a straight up lie, by those of you claim these are high fence hunts where the deer are kept in confined areas then led to slaughter like a chicken to Colonel Saunders. (While there are so called canned hunts, It's not these) What it boils down to (most of you who bitch & whine about it) is you resent the fact you don't have the means, to also take part. Because someone else can afford it, and you can't! pisses you off too no end.(Jealousy rears it's ugly head) So you look for reasons to disparage those who can. Hunters have it rough enough from outside forces, without added condemnation from other Hunters. PETA---ASPCA just to mention two. Spend millions every year slowly picking away at our rights to Hunt. Restrictions, Regulations, Harassment, and Threats are constantly eating away at our ability to enjoy the simple pleasure of spending time afield with our Friends and Family. Sharing and passing down the legacy, that was passed on to us. I get that you're not happy with the lot you've been given, but to add fuel to the fire, helps no one. If you don't agree, don't watch. Find another channel. If were not careful, we'll all lose it........
Well I guess shooting a deer is shooting a deer but that ain’t hunting in my book that’s target practice. Ya pay enough and they come to you ! Try up in Canada or the north woods of Alaska they make you work for it ! Really nice bucks ! I’ll give you that !
I dunno, I’m in Canada, and I kill 3-4 deer a year pretty easily. We have no shortage. I can get two in NB and 2 in Quebec, plus a moose in Quebec, with a draw in NB, and three black bear a year. Sure they might be hunting on ranches, but getting it done isn’t hard if you work at it. I run about 30 game cameras from April to November.
Clary Carrier you just said they make you work for it ! In Minnesota I get my limit most years and that includes bonus tags and special hunts but you read trails and signs , you wait patiently for that nice one to step out and you pull the trigger but that’s only half of it you know you field dress it you drag it out you hang it then about 4-7 days later ( depending on temp. ) you process it and wrap and then freeze it ! I usually eat the straps that day ! That’s why I said it’s target practice, all they do is pull the trigger !
Dave Kimbler I’d say Adam LaRoche works as hard as any of us. Guy is a lifelong hunter. But I also doubt we are as busy as these guys. I have the time to do it, they don’t.
Grant Taylor if you think I’m worried about what they do your greatly mistaken ! I said it’s not like a normal hunt and I have seen those kind of hunts , enemies if I could afford it I wouldn’t do it !
I have never hunted before so I don’t know if what I’m about to say is inaccurate or not. But I’m highly interested in hunting and wish I knew someone that could mentor me, however I’ve watched a lot of deer hunter videos and I get the sense that these guys are just rich playboys going out to a manufactured farm/ranch where there’s already 100s of Bucks just waiting to be drilled. It feels like there’s no competition. It feels very canned and fake. It’s like it’s not a true hunt. The other hunters I’ve watched seem real. They’re out there by themselves or just have one friend or son and have tracked a specific deer for a long time, like years. And I can feel the raw emotions pouring out of these “true” hunters when they accomplish that goal they made far in advance of the actual hunt. I want to learn to hunt so bad, really bad, but I don’t wanna do it like the Buck Commanders. Am I wrong?
I'm wondering if anyone eats these deer. You know it's hot down there and, after a long recovery, the deer get carted around in the pickup (for hours?) without even being field dressed yet.
This is entertaining, but i can't acknowledge hunting on deer farms. The deer are conditioned to be at certain places at a certain time. It's not what I would call hunting in a sporting manner.
@@MrRocko15 I was thinking they might be since they see big bucks every hunt. All of the times that I go hunting it is extremely rare to see a mature buck.
@@carsonsmith2530 It really is, also big bucks are usually nocturnal. unlike their bucks that just walk around in broad daylight. usually a sign of deer farming, because the bucks don't have to learn natural predator avoidance. It's still entertaining, but I'm more impressed by the hunter who goes out and gets a good buck the ole fashion way lol.
If you’ve never had a high fenced ranch over 3k acres you wouldn’t know what it’s truly like. Often the trophies won’t come out for entire seasons at a time. Just because the footage is edited to show the highlights doesn’t mean that all the deer walk out and beg to be shot. You can be skunked on hunts and see zero deer. Cows will ruin hunts if you lease them out on your lands. Lots of things play into it.
Pretty sure the shot was in the back leg? How could there be a bloody hole in the deers front shoulder? It might be legal to shoot them at night in Texas 🤷🏼♂️ idk the law’s down there but
