Still one of the best plays I've ever seen, this play was the groundwork for two unbelievable rose bowl performances. If he doesn't compete that, we don't play Michigan in the rose bowl. We don't get the famous "We'll be baaaack!!" From VY after the Michigan game. Wow what a play. And that poor linebacker is forever a goat.
@@CristalackLOL. Two-handed shove to the chest of the DB by the WR to create separation on his route. Perfectly fine offensive PI call. Anyway, 4th and 18 does not refer to that play. Cry more.
Well back in 2004 it was 16 years ago. had The Texas Longhorns had not converted a 4th down and 18. The Kansas Jayhawks would have pulled off one of the greatest upsets in college football history.
And then same thing happened in 2014 The Kansas Jayhawks also had a chance to shock TCU on their home field on Kansas final drive down 34-30 but the turnover on a INT and ended up losing game to TCU 34-30. That one would’ve should’ve have been one of the greatest upsets ever of all time in college football history in 2014.
I don't remember any particular PI in which Texas was the beneficiary. However, I sure do recall a big XII Title game vs. Nebraska in which one second was restored to a 4th quarter game clock that had ticked down to 0:00. The triple-zeros had followed a huge pickup by the 'horns, moving them into field goal range but to no avail. It was too late! Ha-Ha! Overtime awaited. But alas, the play was reviewed and one second was determined as remaining. Using that added second, UT-A sent the field goal unit out and broke the tie with a successful try. I'm a poet and wasn't aware of it. Anyway, as a Husker fan, I was saddened by that very much. Even now I am, but in a more minor fashion. It truly appeared to me then that time had expired on the previous play. People are free to get out their violins if they wish.
@@VoetistasneuaThe ball made contact out of bounds with :01 left. That same scenario has played out numerous times since that game, and no one has whined about it.
No, it was the game with the perfectly legitimate offensive PI called after the WR’s two-handed shove to the chest of the DB to create separation on his route. Cry more.
nice editing job, started this just after a most heinous OPI call against Kansas. i saw it in person, it was garbage! holding all day by longhorns too. BCS bias
