Text editor from the ground up, part 1: line editing 

Thank you very much. Hopefully I can get these videos out in a reasonable amount of time.

The point of this series is to not use any editors to start with. I didn't use sed either, which is available on most Linux machines, because I felt that it violated the spirit of this challenge.

I do plan to work my way up to using the GPU, but that's a rather large topic that I'll be tackling much later.
