I have almost no idea about Python (just messed around with the interpreter) and this already helped me a hell of a lot ! Too bad my teacher requested C/C++ for the next project, otherwise i would learn and use Python instead...

inFile.seek(0) # resets the cursor to the beginning without having to reopen the file.
