Sir, i want to ask when we connect this led matrix to arduino and then we connect them both with PC to upload program, does the matrix LED turns on automatically or not. In my case, when I'm connecting both the module with PC, some part of the LED turns on and some are off. This is my first project and i have very basic knowledge about electronic and nil about coding.

Is anyone able to modify this example sketch by putting those lines of code into one function then whenever you want your text to scroll you can just call the function name?

Anyone able to make this text scrolling at specific time only? for example when the sensor is ON it shows one message and when is OFF it show another message. Also anyone able to make this text scroll in other language? I don't understand the code at all. All I did was editing the text to create my own custom message. The rest of the code is mystery to me.
