Thank you for this. I am getting ready to make a 50th wedding anniversary card for some dear friends. It has reminded me that I have a few pieces of handmade paper I had forgotten about. A perfect use for it🎉
I have had some handmade papers in my stash for YEARS! This is a fantastic way of adding interest without detracting from the lovely paper, thank you again Natasha for another great idea 😊
Thank you for this card idea, l will now use up the very old handmade paper. The foil will be new! Both cards are gorgeous. You continue to amaze me. Thank you 😊
Beautiful.. Thanks for sharing. Just reminded me... I HAVE SOME!! And haven't used yet been some time too.when first started cardmaking. I thought I needed just about everything. I've realized. Watching your videos.. I don't. I've ran out of room and trying to find time Now to make cards..Love your videos. Thanks for sharing.
Absolutely love how this card come out! Very beautiful! I have been enjoying vintage type crafting supplies and this is perfect! Thank you for always having a great way to use our supplies!
Lovely card,I have never seen that type of paste, also never relised Tombo green was sticky,, the foiling looked amazing. I adore handmade papers,I eatched some young girls in Vietnam make rice paper I was fascinated. Thank you for snother great video.
I must admit I find some of those textured handmade papers a bit of a challenge to know what to do with. Not anymore 😉 Even though I would’ve loved to see the doily stencil turned into a card, this was a stunner of a card. That opal foil, that paper doily and those other elements all made a very striking card. You’re so clever Natasha 😃🩷
Hi Natasha 🥰🙏🦘🦘 I suppose many crafters are like me in that I like to collect a big variety of things & one of my favs to collect is paper. I will get foiling some, thanks to you & this video! 🏆💐
I have to admit I have a variety of handmade, fibrous paper but have never used it. I'm happy to how you used it in card making. Your card is beautiful!
Lovely!! I love the texture on the one- when you just did the edges/corners. Very nice idea. Lately I've been loving doing a lot of mixed media style projects tho. So fun- and each one turns out so unique!! =D❤
Thank you for sharing this video! Thank you for reminding me to use what ya got! In our world today there is push to consume new prodcts that have a large price tag - I am only interested in using what I have - I can think out side of the box cause you show me how!
I have recently been in Whaganui(North Island nz) and purchased some paper made of flax. Had tried stamping on it. Ok but not good. This looks likes a good idea to try. Thanks.
Ps. Love how you used a round punch to make a ticket shape. Didn't think of that.as you have used a paper punch for postage style edges.. 72 I don't think out of the box too far. Lol thanks again.
I have the hardest time using my textured papers because I suspect I am a bit of a hoarder with them. Lol. This is such a great video showing great techniques for them and a beautiful card at the end. What did you make from the wonky chevron background?
I have dye cut banana paper before which is thinner but has thicker pieces in the paper and I like to use it as a torn edge layer that’s how I like to use those types of handmade papers just as a mat layer with a torn edge
