He managed to take the omega lock AND three keys from the entire autobot army alone, managed to fend off both factions when he grew to giant size for a while without too much effort. Taking on a god by this point just seems like it would be easy in his mind at this point
here's a little physics lesion for ya'll. it doesn't matter how much power you put into your super lazers, once you reach the planetary scale in size, nothing does more damage than kinetic impacts. starscream learned this the hard way

Exarch Melor Also several sources state the opposite of what you said. It was stated that Unicron is actually the one who is confined in a universe while Primus exists in several universes at more than once.

starscream was just a complete juggernaut in this series I mean he turns into a giant several times, he fought against the whole autobot team, he fought against galvatron and he even has the guts to fight against primus himself
That's what I like about this Starscream, he's a brave warrior, a powerful threat, can take on Optimus, Megatron/Galvatron, Primus and the entire Autobot army, and he survived all the way to the end of his series. Plus he was the second (or third) Starscream to survive his series.
@@quintondorsey7362 I like to think that absorbing the spark of Primus (twice) mutated Starscream's spark into an indestructible mutant one. This would allow him to survive his encounters with Primus and Megatron/Galvatron.
Technically, those aren't maces, they're flails. Maces were balls on sticks, flails were balls on chains, and these balls are being whipped around as they're tethered like they're on a sort of electrical "chain."
When your god starts throwing moons covered with laser beams at you... I guess it's kinda safe to say they want you gone. Starscream should really take a hint :(
This was the most insane Starscream to exist in transformers. He literlly took on god mutliple times and got the scrap beat out of him multiple times. Also maybe i'm hearing things, but did Starscream cry for his Mama when Primus was about to hit him with the finishing move?

I always found the difference between the Sub and Dub versions of this quite interesting. The US version is your typical "the hero's here, we're saved" upbeat tune, while the JP version is honestly...dark, very dark. Its almost like the creators were tryna point out that yeah, this guy >actually< is a deity, you should consider yourselves lucky he wants to help instead of just wiping out all of you.

@@Phanto5692 well you are right on the second… the first is not very accurate, unless you mean he was killed in another dimension and managed to resurrect after starscream’s first blunder, then it is accurate
After hunting down Starscream he lost any leads to the next planet but soundwave appeared claiming to know a way to it so that’s where he was off to at this time, didn’t arrive till a little before the others did enough to find a gigantian to recruit
Now all things noted, Starscream is by far my favorite character in Transformers all because of Armada, but 9:30 is the funniest moment in this entire series.

How on earth did those moons not break? That aside, this Starscream is savage. Taking on the whole autobot army single handedly. The fight with Galvatron showed he was clearly the better fighter. Using his transformed plane mode, and phasing behind Galvatron instead of going for the punch. It was only Galvatrons willpower (and plot armor) that won him the fight.
I haven't watched cybertron yet But I just might to see how the honorable and self sacrificing Starscream from armada became this power hungry,maniacal and insane menace who tried to fight god,twice
Energon takes place between Armada and Cybertron. Alpha Quintrsson tried to ressurect Starscream but he ran out of energy halfway through and so he was left incomplete, leaving him as a ghost and without his memories
I would say, don't. If you are looking for any of the old Armada Starscream in this sequel, you won't find it. Even with Alexis as an occasional cameo, she never sees Starscream. In fact nobody seems to remember Starscream's exploits at all, despite Energon/Cybertron being canonically related to the aftermath of Armada. The only remaining element of Armada Starscream is that Cyclonus, Tidalwave, Demolisher and the other former deceptions are still allied with the autobots after the 10-15 years that pass: and even that gets written off fast for the sake of the drama. The writers just plucked Starscream's corpse from the grave for the namesake, for a reboot that honors nothing about the series' most pivotal character. Contently, enjoy the memories from Armada and leave it at that. You won't regret not seeing Energon/Cybertron.
***** Beast Wars I can understand since that actually did have a developing plot, but besides getting new cast members (and the movie where everyone died), what does G1 have over TF:Cybertron? TF:Cybertron at least had an overarching plot and characters who changed over time, plus a Starscream that was above the usual groveling and was an intelligent and legitimate threat.
i really don't get the whole "good old days" thing you guys have going on there. i tried watching those when i was a little girl but they were just too silly for my taste, i didn't get into transformers until armada or energon where i felt like i can invest in these characters. that and i'm an early 2000s kid. the storytelling in the old shows (excluding the movie) was just… not good. give credit to advance in animation and more mature storytelling at least come on.
@@concept5631 not as much regarding cowardice, he was more of a backstabbing traitor though. Cybertron starscream is basically a fusion of his g1 character and his armada character, he is a capable fighter but has every intention of betraying megatron but is smart enough to not talk about it
@@concept5631 agreed. He single-handedly overpowered all of the autobots to get the nearly complete omega lock, survived two battles with primus, and actually forced galvatron to go full power in their final battle
I have been a huge fan of this franchise for almost my entire life, so HOW DID I NOT KNOW that Starscream not only fought Primus, but got his aft handed to him!? This is the funniest thing I’ve seen from Transformers in a long time!
I woke up this morning with this in my head and I wanted to share it. "this is Primus, back together and i'm never going down to the likes of you, because i'm so much better every one on me is saying go get him you where never one to play by the rules come at me with any of your fancy tools let's go just me and you let's go just god on fool" I don't know why my mind made this.
There’s a reason primus is using guns instead of swatting starscream like a bug and it’s the same reason we use bug spray on insects because there small and fast as shit
LeoValdez5650 Primus holds back so he doesn't cause death and destruction across whole galaxies. He also exists across the multiverse in every universe at once. This is just a tiny fraction of his power... and he's still holding back!
