About the panic attack thing, it is accurate. For some reason, you can craft the panic attack with the primary token, thanks to engineer having it there. It happens with soldier, pyro and heavy. I can confirm it, I crafted 2 panic attacks with heavy primary slots.
I (an F2P player) played on Skial like ONCE before this update came out and there I could type and talk and stuff. It was… bizarre to say the least, and me discovering it was an accident! (Pressed the E key while trying to walk)

Good news is that This is a major technical update. It shows that they are still interested in keeping the game operational and functioning properly on newer computers. It’s Not the normal content or bug update we occasionally see but maybe this will make it easier to add stuff
@@lanfour4444 I was always pretty bad at TF2, especially with the bad fps I was getting, but because of the update the game runs much better and I can finally properly enjoy it!

I remember that tf2 mobile game (it actually has 2 discord servers btw), I remember coming up with updates for it, but I eventually lost all hope for it, all the developer was adding were new maps, nothing else, no actual improvements, and set luster updates would take months to come out!!!!!!!
I can noticed somewhat a noticeable performance boost. It feels a bit smoother when playing on high ping server, easier to predict. The downside is that in some occasions, you get FPS drop every 10 seconds. But again, maybe it’s my PC being at the fault here.
I did in fact get a panic attack a few days ago by forging a weapon with a soldier and primary weapon token I think it's somehow due to the fact that the panic attacks is also an engi primary

Thankful for the performance improvements if nothing else, but a better framerate doesn't really make it more playable when your ENTIRE night is spent trying to kick bots until they eventually beat you in sheer numbers. Can't just straight up ENJOY the game, bot shit is always front of mind and it destroys the whole experience. We have some community servers, but getting enough players to go to them is a minigame all of its own (and I've been playing since beta so it's not like my friends and I don't have a thousand people between us to invite, just no one WANTS to any more). Big sad
Kinda easy way of fixing cheating and bots problem is introducing some online anonymous identity. It should not be your ID card, even bank card is enough. Each identity with one one unique bank card. If you get caught cheating, the will just ban that identity. Getting a new bank card is relatively easy, but its limited by banks, who checks your identity, and it is not something you would want to do every week as a cheater or as a bot hoster. Of course there should be a way to play without it by playing on "not identified players server" with risk of bots and cheaters. But it is a solution and I think it is the future of gaming. Unless you all want to have different anticheat programs like Vanguard that is too invasive (and China owned?) and will block even overclocking or other system modifications, like running virtual machine. It sucks and it doesn't even work 100%.
I wrote a warning on reddit about how valve is bad at updates and got met with the usual too long to read syndromes, that was before like 2019, before the incident where valve changed "Full sized update" to "Summer sized update" causing the community to cry about it and without thinking it through launching themselves to cry on twitter in #SaveTF2, then the economy crashed, then 100% unusual crate glitch, then several waves of bots, more terrible updates and most online trade sites hacked... I'll be honest that I don't hate TF2 as a game but I just gave up and stopped trying, I know laugh at the misery the TF2 community brought upon itself by their own mistakes... I don't even know what happened with #SaveTF2 2.
had they actually done something about the bots in 2016-2018 before the source code was leaked then the bots might not be nowhere near as prevalent pause at 5:33. "i mean that was a trickstab" please tell me you are just joking
No idea why the 64bit update was so hyped. It changed absolutely nothing. I still get random "processing time exceeded" disconnects and casual is still full of bots.
sort of less lag but i play on a toshiba laptop lol also there is more lag spikes but idk if that is in every game i only played bot games for some time and turned it off because like i didnt feel like playing lol
