As a medic main, I think it's hella sucky to not heal scouts. Your job is to keep your teaM alive. Not just one heavy. At least buff the scout before the match so they can take more damage.

#1. Using an old computer

The “use your legs” part is a double edged sword. I cant count how many times that the medic blamed me for taking their health kit while they never even try to heal anyone other then their soldier boyfriend. It is just back and forth.

#10 Playing Lime Green Scout

*Mistakes:* -Die -Miss a shot -Miscalculate a jump -Fail at dodging -Run into a level 3 sentry

Scout girl: Over here! Medic: How do i put this nicely? Medics don't *an add starts playing*

Gets yelled at for asking for healing' run to health pack' gets yelled at for taking health pack...

Solider: It's over Scout I have the high ground. Scout: You dare underestimate my power. Solider: Don't try it. Scout: *gets killed by crit rocket*

My damage per shot:50 Other:150

"Don't ever allow the medic to heal you. It's a sin. You're an insignificant little shit so why don't you just slide your way back all the way across the map to spawn? It's not like your class's primary focus is to be up in the enemy lines, as far from the resupply as possible. That's right, the heavy at 450 health takes priority over you, burning to death at 14 health."

The only thing I am lacking in Scout is a good aim. Edit: Just how many "Same" replies this comment has?

Scout can actually sextuple jump, not just quadruple jump you have the normal double jump the triple jump with the atomizer quadruple jump with the atomizer and the force-a-nature quintuple jump with the Soda popper and sextuple jump with the soda popper and atomizer

2:40 medics heal scouts to keep them alive for buffs in competitive so it's only fair to heal scouts as well as your part of the team and as a medic you heal everyone to get them alive with buffs

Medic tip: heal/buff the scouts. Even buffing him to 150 hp will make him tougher to take down and make a good distraction for your enemies. The only time I wouldn't advise it is if there are a lot of patients or the patient you're healing is taking constant damage

Number 2: Teleporters Just switch to engi for 20sec and help upgrade teleporter to lv 3.

The 2nd tip should be like: change to engineer and upgrade teleport, then you change to scout and run to the battle

The number 1 tip is kinda wrong, because alot of people keep saying that scout along with 3 other classes are generalists and can be useful in many situations

Number 7 should be ignored when facing an advanced player. As the double jump removes any strafing abilities you have until you land. Making you easy to predict.

Correction: Fastest running speed; or base speed. Soldier or demo are the fastest as they can rocket jump and sticky jump.

This video was incredibly helpful. I'm starting to get pretty good at playing Scout, but I still have a lot to learn, especially from videos like this. I'll keep this in mind next time I go Scout.

"your fast and quick, so don't be a dick." Im using that.

Also helpful to aiming: Just use your mouse to turn, not to aim. Instead of trying to track your opponent- your high speed plus their own movment makes this hard- just look in their direction and simply strafe until your crosshair lines up. You should be strafing regardless to make yourself a difficult target, so just doing this doesn't require you to do anything special, but helps you not miss.

Scout is hard countered by sentries. And considering how many people play medic, there most likely isn't going to be a spy and soldier combo to take out the nest.

Let me get this straight. Medics refuse to heal Scout if he needs it, and so he has to rely on medkits? But what if the Medic needs them? Scout shiuld only go to resupply lockers? It's a pretty bad argument to make as it depends on the situation.

Scout is an offense class, medic should buff him. Here's why : -185hp scout is deadly and allow more aggressive play - allow scout to keep fighting for longer without retreating - scout won't steal medpacks - scout will gravitate toward the medic and protect him on occasions

Great video! One thing I'd mention they didn't cover in the Medic section is that you actually buff the Medic's movement speed when he pockets you if your base speed is higher than his, so Scout makes the Medic get back to the fight in the least amount of time besides a friendly teleporter

Thanks for the tips! As a scout main, I pay great attention to not being THAT type of scout main. Or as we call them, "sc**ts". I call for medic in 15 second intervals, pay attention to the environment, and take care of my team mates.

But there were a 1 scene of engineer's mistake "Building lover"

You'll be suprised with how many times my patient dies just cuz some dumb E spamming scunt just walks in between me and my patient. I have a hobby of clicking my mouse when healing instead of just holding it down (so I can spread the heals on my front lines) and that makes my medigun switch to healing the scout. Pls if you're a scout don't be a jerk and spam E cuz you're distracting me.
