To really get the “why is that sentry there”, you need to have it guarding nothing, or a random flank route. It needs to be somewhere it has no purpose for
The reason the Huo-Long Heater was doing so much damage is because it does 25% more damage to burning targets (which is reduced by its inherent 10% reduced damage, making it 15% in total). It's actually rather situationally scary as a minigun.
1:37 I believe what happened is the arrow gave you enough air velocity to cause fall damage, since its your speed that calculates fall damage and projectiles give knockback this is the only explanation for this.
I think for any challenge, your timelimit is 3 rounds of any map or gamemode if its a session join and the round is about to end then it doesnt count as an attempt
23:01 пиздец I wouldn't expect to hear the exact same doorbell sound that I've been also hearing for 15 years or so in my childhood. It sounds both neat and puzzling, and it certainly did unlock some dormant memories from my childhood
see the problem with the "why is that sentry there" challenge is the more you attempt it and fail, the less likely it'll be for them to actually say anything because they know what you're doing.
You coud've completed the funny sentry challenge by going all f2p engineer, queueing up dustbowl, then building a nest outside of spawn. You're sure to get noticed not by the the enemy, but by your team.
Best way to get accused of cheating without killing anyone would probably be to pretend to have airblast hacks but just never kill anyone with the reflected projectiles.
I'd say the problem with the Sentry challenge was that you were playing like such a troll, creeping around in the enemy backyard, that most people questioned nothing you did by the time you got the weird sentries up. I feel like playing like a more conventional Engie and then suddenly going weird would yield better results. It was hilarious though. Also, playing Engie like a Scout and topping scoreboards is kinda impressive.
You can use a combination of the command cl_yawspeed and binding +right/+left to look a lot like a spinbot. For example: ' cl_yawspeed 2048 ' and ' bind j "+left" ' .
The challenges were too easy so voro implements a time limit and selects insanely difficult challenges... and still breezes through them lol. I think you completed the hacking accusation one:) Crazy impressive.
For the "why is the sentry there" challenge, you should have probably built a teleporter to a place way back (like the very first spawn,) and built a sentry there. But you'll probably get kicked before anyone even says that though.
A good spot on doublecross is in the sewers. There's a spot where you can put the sentry without any peeking advantages so they have to cross its line of sight to spam it.
Sentry challenge would probably work better if you put it outside your own spawn and pointing it the wrong way. Then your own team would ask what it is doing there.
Vorobey's challenge videos always make me want to open tf2 and try to do some of them myself, but then I remember Im not a tf2ber with 5000+ hours on tf2
I think that the time limit/round limit should be a limit of some sort that is not necessarily time. The proposer of the challenge should propose the limit, whether it be time, or rounds, or number of kills even, or some other such things. Naturally, if it is a ridiculous limit, you would adjust it.
if you do this again (depending on the map bc some decide to have 30 ammo packs and others like 5) imo warping back to spawn then to your exit saves time when setting up/upgrading rather than looking for at the minimum 1 full and 1 medium ammo pack to get 200 metal with the EE
The thing you should’ve done is used the holiday punch for the second challenge. Because when they laugh, you can easily use the rings to burn them to death. I’ve seen people do this like 10 times.
hey ik ik i don't want to be that person pushing youtuber collab or assuming youtuber must be friend irl . but i still got to say i really enjoy the one time you collab with fat magic doing challenge . it was the time many tf2 content creater left after long stale mate since last update and both of you be pick up by algorithm for around a year , with similar vibe you 2 kind a works well in that one , and sequel of that never came despite i think most do like and comment . OK , the idea i actually want to make is an interesting flank duo of heavy and pyro , which ik you knida like pyro in early frag video and inspired by some housewive guy ? and fat magic likes heavy plays . but still you can still do it with "FESTIVE" (ur actual friend?). the combo contain "Hulong Heater" "Banana" "melee of choice" for heavy , and "Dragon's fury" "Detenater/scorch/even gas passer" "Back Scracher" heavy can ambush around coner or spawn camp like LV3 sentry back pyro up by doing brass beast damage while mobile around the map , while pyro strike on angles and bait people into heavy . Pyro set people on fire with dragon's fury mid range flare long range gas passer spawn camp , while air blast cover heavy unrev extinguish juggle melee class . Heavy by rev up around coner catch people on fire also "rev up"pyro's dragon's fury instantly start at triple damage , feed banana into back scracher result in sandvich level heal with fast cool down also self heal efficiently .
I've gotten people going "why is that sentry there" by placing it in the 2fort sewer, opposite of the health and ammo packs. It's fucking hysterical just vaguely hearing sentry fire in the distance as someone dies trying to get some health, followed by an angry chat message.
This right here, is why I play battle engie. You’re like a scout, but with better aim because “reasons”. And you just tear through the enemy and they are just weirded out by the whole thing!
Well some challenges are easier than others so if you give like 20 minutes for each challenge it might be tedious for certain ones or not enough, as well as casual matches not always lasting a full round. Honestly just play until you get a certain amount of points or something. Like you have 50 kills to get the special type of kill or something that isnt about time because you might have more or less dependent on the games you manage to find.
