5:22 when you place a teleporter (or any other building) there is an arrow on the blueprint, indicating the direction people will face when they go through
When Vorobey doesn't even know how teleporter exits work, it makes me feel a little better about so many engineers facing their exits into walls. Pro tip: you can even ROTATE the exit with the M2 button.
in fact: you can rotate any engineer building with mouse2, this may be useful for making dispensers more flush against walls or allowing a sentry to not have to rotate too much to face enemies in certain spots
This is such valuable information. I've been playing TF2 for 22 years and I never knew any of this. I also found out when playing as engi, if you hold down the W key, you'll walk forward.
Yeah, and something I noticed about the game and the meet the engineer video is that engie in the meet the engineer video was calm and stuff, but in the game (not meet the engineer, i am talking about the game) he sounds all talkative. Kind of weird, and another thing is that he built multiple sentries (which you cannot do ingame if you did not know) so in my defense i kind of think that they should just buff engineer. And remove pyro.
Vorobey, if you want to do a little more engine trolling, you can play MVM two cities and put the teleporter by the banana next to the grinder. Once someone teleports pick up the teleporter and they will fall in, but you didn’t hear this from me.
(15:10) I checked the TF2 wiki and apparently yeah, both the rockets from a level 3 sentry and stock rocket launcher fire at 1100 hammer units per second. Kind of a pointless thing for me to check but there's the answer anyways.
One interesting challenge I'd like to see is dominating a teammate as Medic. You can actually do that, though it seems kinda hard and out of your control.
if you ever try this airshot thing again, im 99% sure dmg falloff with the wrangler is calculated by YOUR distance to target and not the sentry. anyway it might be easier to frag with more dmg

ProLander, as a format, exists because it's just easier to get 14 players together than 18, by just a little bit. Each player has a stronger impact, and not every class always has something to do in Highlander. And it creates unique moments where your team just doesn't have a particular class doing their job.
You can rotate your buildings by right-clicking while holding your building of choice. You can check which way people will be facing by looking at the teleporter exits blueprint
i'm two days late to this but i did crack open a can of bargain brand mountain dew during the can cracking noise and was confused why my can was so loud
Good challenge: Teleport 3 snipers while they aiming so they accidently step on teleporter. I'll send it to discord as soon as it will open. (I actually have video about teleporting snipers)
You can improve your odds of this by using the jag and redeploying a teleporter entrance next to them while they are aiming, it builds faster than a mini sentry that way. Then simply crouch on the other side of them and push them into the tele.
The mid air market garden thing at the end I think the demo man I think was excuse able but the pyro that jumped into the nest had no excuse to fail or whatever they had so much time

I have been watching youtube for most of my life. I've grown up a kid watching youtube on their parent's tablet. I made a youtube account maybe around 10 years old. To this day I can count how many videos I have disliked on one hand, maybe two. And this is one of them. I can not express how absolutely infuriating these types of engineers are. I don't mind half as much the engis that put their teles backwards so you're extremely vulnerable to spies camping the teles. The pain of waiting 20+ seconds to respawn, trusting a team mate who has made a teleporter, and then getting tricked into walking off a cliff, followed by ANOTHER 20+ respawn timer... holy shit. I haven't even watched the video yet and I'm already feeling stressed. This is going to give me a heart attack or something. Anyways, on with the video.
