bo4r is actually fucking insane. Compared to pretty much every other sniper of a similar tier his consistency is off the charts. There's a reason cat noises was so hard to push into until they had the team in their downloads folder.

I think the double Medics kills it for a lot of people but I'd like to see more.

5CP is a terrible game mode for cop. It penalizes slow classes way too much and it takes forever to win. KOTH is much better, with Payload right behind. Both end considerably faster due to the time limits and lack of stalemate conditions. Payload is slightly worse due to being asymmetrical and having certain classes be better depending on wich team you're on.

@Daniel von Strangle more like a case of them being elitist scrublords unwilling to get outside of their comfort zone and banning everything that poses a threat to their established "meta".

@@unknownuser8967 a good start would be an universal 1 class limit. Scout is known to be extremely overpowered in 6v6 for the exact opposite reason as Heavy, and yet he is unrestricted to 2 even after Engineer and Pyro got some quality of life changes making them a little more usable. Also please move comp into KOTH. 5CP takes absolutely forever to end.

Cyr /udon it’s a community event mirroring VALVe’s competitie rule set. Valve’s MM is barren, so they cant get info about how their rule set works in a comp environment. This RGL league allows Valve to look at how the rule set works at the highest possible level in comp and balance from there

People say pyro can't be viable in sixes and yet pyro shuts down attempts to push the cart on cliff/tracks and attempts to bomb or get the sentry on last. There's so much room for the meta to grow IMO

GreyHounds Pyro isn’t viable on 5cp due to lack of true mobility like demo/solly/scout. Pyro struggles to keep up with his team on 5cp. On Payload and certain KotH maps, Pyro is super strong. He’s just a niche class pick which excels in areas where he doesnt fall flat. Pyro main btw

@@itsyuyatime yeah I get his shortcomings, they're exacerbated by the meta tho. Personally think that deto/powerjack could make the mobility less of an issue. If all weapons are either unbanned or rebalanced to become legal (lol if only) we might see the sixes meta change on 5cp, which could mean different team comps. would at the very least be interesting

@@GreyHoundsTF From what I'm heard, Powerjack were tested, but Pyro still isn't viable in 6s. His issue is not only his mobility, but also his the short range of his Flame Thrower, so he can't provide reliable damage.

@@jackismname uh no? Sniper can one shot any one of his teammates, but that doesn’t mean he’s overpowered. He can only shoot so fast and he can be spammed out because he has low health, he stays in a mostly stationary position while scoped and he flitches from damage. Plus, vaccinator is a strong counter to him I had to edit it because one of my sentences didn’t have parallel structure and it was killing me

@@colatf2 I disagree then. I feel Sniper's potential is too high, a sniper hitting every headshot is so powerful it is what all script cheaters gravitate towards, to the point where its not fun to play against at all. Its much more dominating than any other class when played properly. Maybe I'm not good enough to play against it but I have a few thousand hours on TF2 and I absolutely loathe playing against them.

Removing weapon bans is the best way for us to get actual rebalances. I completely agree that pocket vaxx on sniper is OW GOATS levels of frustration, and am interested to see how valve (if valve) rebalances it

@@GreyHoundsTF Like in a pub I would go spy or flanking soldier bomb, demoknight, fists of steel heavy, melee scout, or battalion's backup, but in that setting only the backup would have worked, and not fast enough

@@Greg_Rock I was thinking about how to play around it. It's definitely more difficult in no limits sixes than HL or ProL. If you coordinate a spy attempt (even with their pyro) it gives an opening for crit stickies and counter sniping at the same time. Still too much effort around 1 weapon but if you redesigned the vaxx a little I'm sure it could be both fun to use and play against.

The Prolander mode really solved this problem about 2 years ago I think. All classes can now be very useful without having to play highlander. There are a few classes that you will not use very often of course, but unless you play at the very best level with very little margin of error, your team should allow you to pick unusual classes, and some teams might even allow you to main them I think. It depends, even at a low level you have rigid people who don't want to pick anything unusual, but an unusual team comp can be at your advantage, and I'm sure a lot of teams understand that in Prolander, at least like ... very roughly 1/3 of them I'd say. Personally I hope Prolander is gonna become the most popular mode. Objectively it's the best mode for people who like to play unusual classes and playstyles. This no restriction 6v6 allows almost only one unusual class at most, because most of the time, teams will use the lack of restrictions to double or triple the usual classes, like soldier, scout or medic, but they rarely go pyro, spy or engineer. But In Prolander mode, I've seen guys that were basically Pyro or engie mains, who would almost never switch classes, and I've even seen people who stayed spy for the majority of games. While you don't see that in no restriction 6v6. And Highlander has the usual problem that you get stuck with one class for an entire tournament, and some of them have very boring roles in tight stale-maty games (especially the pyro, who just becomes a spychecker and a reflecter). So yeah I invite everyone to go check Prolander, it's the best at promoting variations in the classes you pick. Then the no-restriction 6v6 has other advantages, but it still fails in this category. What's your main by the way ?

If you dont have the point you spawn faster

Attackers have smaller spawn times, so delaying cap ensures faster spawn. The extra person can be more important than the cap time lost
