I think the guy's name however was 'seaboludoyfume'. That's the engie, who is building at the beginning of Jerma's "plan" next to him and despite being a default Engie, who builds a sentry next to another sentry, he also shows to not get, that a medic, who runs away is, is a clearly a spy. Ofc it could be another noob engie, but chances are hight that it was the same guy. But you can't find him anymore with this name of course.

Incorrect. I can tell because "seaboludoyfume" and the name of the blur have drastically different lengths. If you don't believe me go and watch the video. Take a ruler and measure the length of the blur, then measure the length of that to "seaboludoyfume." You'll find the two have drastically different lengths. I think I know the guy's name, though. At the time it was Corgifuz. Wanna know how I found out? I found out because I was watching the kill feed and the chat at the same time. Pause at 6:08 and look at the screen very carefully. Look at the kill feed and you'll notice that the most recent death was from Jerma killing the blurred name. Now look in the chat box. Underneath the blurred name was the name Corgifuz. I know they were the same people because of the length, and because of the fact that the message said Corgifuz found the Righteous Bison. Now, you only find items immediately after you're killed (assuming you don't hit escape in while you're playing, which Corgifuz clearly didn't given that he was moving around prior to dying), so the fact that the message came immediately after Corgifuz died really gave it away. Yea you could say that it may have been someone else who just happened to hit escape and then click the new item notification, but the fact that the two names are the same length and the same color, coupled with the fact that the message came so quickly after Corgifuz died, really eliminates that possibility. Too many coincidences. TBH I don't understand why Jerma blurred it. It's not like anyone would go harass the guy just because he was in Jerma's video. No one harasses people just because they're in Jerma's video, otherwise the other people like Manray would be harassed as well. Even if it were the case that Corgifuz would go get harassed because he was in Jerma's video, the guy could easily prevent it by changing his/her name and denying any friend requests from strangers.There really is nothing to lose by leaving the name unblurred. EDIT: Turns out there's a possibility I'm wrong.

Ah, correct. But this goes to show that blurring does little to solve the problem - if anything, it merely exacerbates it. People, in a desperate attempt to troll the dude (and this is assuming they REALLY want to troll the dude that badly when they have little to gain from it), can have a likelihood of identifying the wrong guy and going to harass him. This could be the case for the seaboludoyfume dude, where if you scroll down, you can see many identifying him as the hatless engineer. In any case, I found the real perp (I think at least). It couldn't have been anyone else in the kill feed during that clip, as they all died at different times from the blur. Actually, it couldn't have been possibly ANYONE ELSE during that clip, as Jerma would have blurred it (it would be a 1-minute job to blur all instances of the name in that one clip, so the name would have to be identified from another clip or video if it takes place on the same server with the same people). The length of the name is also close to the length of Man Ray and Corgifuz, so it must be somewhere between 7-8 characters. I also looked at the time of the round. The time in the previous frame was 4:13, while the time in the next frame was 4:42. As such, the round was two rounds later, as only Star and Jerma changed teams while everyone else stayed on the same one (relative to the last clip at least); the different time on the clock indicates that this round was a different one from the last. So with a very, very heavy amount of photoshop editing, I got a rough shape of what the name was, along with a list of all detected players on the server at that time that matched the parameters of the blurred name (7-8 characters, while having roughly the same length, was not a name in the killfeed during the time in which Jerma trolled the dude, etc.). I also had to exclude the names from pl_thundermountain, as that was a different server completey. Of those, only NewHaven fit the bill, as all others name either left the game as seen in the chat or were featured in the killfeed; in addition, the formatting matched the shape from my photoshop stint (the shape vaguely had the protruding-up shapes that matched that of NewHaven, while other names had other shapes that when blurred didn't quite match the shape I got from photoshop). You could say that off-camera, new people joined, but I find that unlikely, as not many people left during that little stint (only about 3 people left, and they were quickly replaced). On top of that, you'll notice a teleporter that was also blurred (presumably built by the same guy) - it was there previously, indicating that the guy was there for quite some time in order to build it (running back into spawn to get more metal, etc. takes a fair bit of time). Thirdly, the name matched the shape I got from photoshop much better than the other names did. In addition, the people in the video stayed largely consistent; very little differences were made in between clips. Though of course not impossible that the person is someone else entirely, it's much less likely than my proposed scenario. My main point still stands, though: blurring does little to solve the problem, unfortunately. Not to mention people care little whether or not they guess the name right; they just troll who they BELIEVE the victim is (of course, this is assuming they will actually go and brainlessly harass those associated with Jerma and STAR_ in the first place; the reality is, people don't do anything like that because it's a waste of their time and they just don't feel like it.) I guess I can appreciate the intent, but really it wasn't needed and possibly only makes the problem worse when the wrong guy gets targeted (for instance, many people below mistaken identify seaboludoyfume); again though, people don't even target them in the first place because they simply do. Not. Care.
