0:20 The Quickfix is the prototype Medic made of what would eventually become the Medigun, it shorted out during "Meet the Medic" which is why it heals fast but can't Ubercharge. I always loved that detail.

You know, the Quick fix has a glitch where the Thermal Thruster gives the Medic the fall damage reduction AND the stomp after the pyro jumps with it, even after switching to a different heal target (at least until you die). Making the Medic even more capable of their own Market Gardens!

I just started playing Battle Medic with the Quick-Fix and I haven't had this much fun in a while. The amount of dumb shit you can get away with by just flanking and flying is ridiculous.

Your efforts to keep up with your heal patient was actively detrimental to your ability to do so. The Quickfix is only able to mirror blast jumps if the Medic is grounded. In other words, every time you jumped for that extra bit of distance, you actively prevented yourself from following. Keep that in mind. An interesting tidbit though, I lied a little. You just need to be touching level geometry. Ceilings and walls count for launching yourself. Mirroring a blast jump using a ceiling has "interesting" results.
