HUGE thanks to Nathan Vetterlein, a.k.a. ChiliOfDestiny for lending his voice to be that one guy (you know who). Here's his RU-vid: goo.gl/o3PDB5 And his Twitch: goo.gl/LLkjLS Oh and also here's that disclaimer thing: goo.gl/S42dde
You fucking asshole, I just played against you yesterday. You killed me with 3 damage across the map with a back scatter named *-insert offensive name here-*
FreakerCamper i noticed that the two "stereotype" videos without soundsmith in it. They hold him as hostage or "steal" his channel. Doing videos is a risky life if you think about it
1:23 I remember when a player told me that he had a spray that was more cute than my red army robbin, after showing his spray it was not cute at all, but he still claimed that it was still much more cute so I went tryhard on him
going to say it now, i have never seen a bad exquisite rack soldier in tf2. i may only have like 1400 hours so i am not as experienced as some people, but from my brief time of playing i have yet to see a bad one. Also if you see one with a timewarp effect hope to god he is on your team.
Personally, I find it's more of a warpig: You see some decent, some bad, but they tend to think of themselves as better than they really are. However, I'd also say it's the mildest of the Warpigs: They're not the sort of person that tries to prove they're better than everyone else, they just... overestimate their skill level fairly consistently,
7:06 I remember wearing this outfit only because I had what I like to call my “winter scout costume set” but that’s when I realized I was addicted to the set so now I’m a scout main
YOU CANNOT BELIEVE how much I was relieved that the thrilling tracksuit didn’t really have a stereotype, I was like “oh I don’t think he’s gonna cover it in this” but then Thrilling Tracksuit came in and I know I shouldn’t care but it felt like “what if people think I suck or that I’m a scunt because I wear this” and so when it popped up, I held my breath “This is straight up one of my favorite scout misc’s, it looks amazing” And I was like “oh thank the lord”
5:24 Deep thought says the meaning of life, the universe, and everything is 42. It's also a towel and an umbrella, which is defined as the guide as very useful items
During the entire video, I was praying to God that my scout misc (the ticket boy), wasn't negative. Now I don't care, and just want to see if there is a stereotype for it.
Exactly. Immediately after I logged out of Borderlands 2 after doing that mission, I bought the owl and named it that, as my own personal homage. I mained Mordecai (then Zer0, then Claptrap), and while I focused on a pure sniper build with melee skills in a pinch (which did translate to my fighting style in TF2 and many other FPS's to come), the bird has saved my ass more times than I can count.
You know the whole premise of the joke is jst that I have the same name as a hat, and somehow you guys started arguin , does that mean I'm a master baiter or are you guys just so stupid?
0:00 Alright, I'm an avarage Scout main in terms of skill and above average in terms of behaviour. Curious wich Stereotype I belong to. EDIT: Wow, not even one of my three miscs were in this video. Do I get a sandvich now?
I don’t wear the delinquents down vest to be “cool”, I wear it to act like Marty McFly from back to the future and sometimes I don’t aim properly and shake my arm around a lot. Yknow... Because Michael J Fox has Parkinson’s
Speaking of back to the future, am I the only one who thinks that the stereoscopic shades make scout look like that one kid with the 3d glasses from the first movie?
OMG SoundSmith I wear the Southie Shinobi and I'm not a weeaboo. Even though all stereotypes have exceptions, I'm choosing to berate you and ignore the disclaimer. Jerk. But seriously if you are actually like this...
Tossle cap, delinquent’s vest, digit divulgers Force-A-Nature wow I’m honored (I also use the mad milk and candy cane to support my team see I’m not a complete asshole)
It's WAYYY too early to suggest this, but I recently had a crazy yet amazing* idea about how the Stereotypes series will eventually end. TF2 Stereotypes: The Movie, or something like that. Basically a compilation of stereotypes that are worth mentioning, but don't fit into any of the seasons that get made. And the very last stereotype is... "People who take TF2 Stereotypes too seriously" *It takes the form of an SFM skit. The setting is a church.* Priest: And now, let us begin as always, with a reading from the good book... "TF2 Stereotypes." The bible that Gaben himself wishes us to take to heart every day of our lives. (etc etc you get the idea) *Soundsmith shows up in the church* Soundsmith: Guys... you know that these stereotypes aren't meant to be taken seriously, right? Churchgoers: ... Soundsmith: Uhh...... Churchgoers: IT'S HIM! THE ONE WHO TAUGHT US ALL WE KNOW! OH, PLEASE, GREAT PROPHET, TELL US YOUR KNOWLEDGE! WHAT'S THE STEREOTYPE FOR MY KILLSTREAK BLUE MEW SMG? DOES THE CAT'S PAJAMAS MAKE ME A FURRY IF I WEAR IT? IF AN ENGINEER HAS THE *endless sea of voices* Soundsmith: aaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA... *Soundsmith IRL wakes from the nightmare at his desk* And then he'd probably give his final words on the series, and all that stuff. (*idea may not actually be amazing)
Lmao I used to wear the fast learner alot until I got a flapjack, I remember trying to do a military loadout w/ it too and ended up w/ a sci fi loadout so, youre not wrong w/ the flapjack
Classified Coif-Only wears it with Spook in Specs. Shogun's Shoulder Guard- Always wears it with Killer's Kabuto and tries WAY too hard to get a melee kill with Half-Zatoichi. Cold Snap Coat- "Hey guys, I look just like that soldier from End of The Line Trailer!" Ghoul Gibbin Gear- eDgY jOke Compatriot- Most of the time wears it with Armored Authority or Honcho's Headgear or Full Metal Drill Hat Lieutenant Bites the Dust- Doesn't take the game too seriously, will gladly fuck around the server with you. If I missed something you can write down more suggestions, and If I made a mistake please correct me.
i like the classified coif, but i dont use it with the other counterpart. though i am waiting for the generic FDU stereotype. oh and Kringle collection probably my favorite soldier misc :D. unboxed it back when it was worth 8 keys, and didnt sell it :D
Oh boy, Coldsnap Coat: This is the equivalent to the Soldier's stash but more modern and new, players think by wearing this they're cool and ebin. Mistaken Movember: No you are not naked and covered in honey like in the comics. Lord Cockswain's Novelty Mutton Chops and Pipe: Yes he his high, and yes he is on a godlike kill streak. The Caped Crusader: The closest one can be to being a true batman The Shogun's Shoulder Guard: Hurr durr I'm a closet Muselk without showing it, or they so happen to have a samurai set. Fancy Dress Uniform: You will be constantly bombed for bodyshoting him, no exceptions. The Brawling Buccaneer: The douche bag who runs conch-box and stays in their spawn on ctf maps. Lieutenant Bites: They don't shut up about how the raccoon is connected to the the soldiers pocket and flails whenever he rocket jumps. The Compatriot: 1,000,000% American. Exquisite Rack: He wants you to believe that his rack has the unusual, even though it's clearly his dirt cheap hat. The Kringle Collection: He'll let every one in the pub know you're all ho-ho-horrible.
vooshoos SSG is THE definitive war pig misc for Soldier. I have seen countless Soldiers wearing this move to melee combat before they need to in a 1v1 and promptly get demolished by a faster class moving away, or jump onto the point blindly and getting shredded by Heavies in under a second.
I don't realy know any stereotype just saying I will stop playing tf2 and I want to give my items to someone who can use them. If you find me add me and tell me how to trade. My name is Technoboy1000
Classafied Coif soldier are usually wearing a hair cosmetic or a fedora because really no one fucking wears the damn thing with a helmet. that or they are going for the federal express set and they tend to be warpigs in that case
Fun fact: I actually kinda like the Fast Learner. It's kinda classy, and i think it works well, contrasting with Scout's usual "Asshole-In-A-Can by Sham-Wow!" shtick.
THIS WAS ME! They use the caffeine cooler, bonk helm and bonk boy cosmetics, soda popper, bonk and atomizer. They can never land the second shot of the soda popper.
I kinda wonder what's the stereotype for "mistaken movember" "coldfront Curbstompers" and "cold snap coat" That is my laodout for soldier in a nutshell
Or idiots who think they can get a ton of zatoichi kills and end up jumping into a bunch of enemies and shredded to bits. Also, they always wear it with other samurai cosmetics, like the kabuto or the mempo.
*The Founding Father* This person is to broke to get any of the other cooler soldier shirts so he gets this one. (May or may not be just me but whatever)
Love it but there’s several you missed. While I understand the whole “you hate making these” and I’m not upset, but I was kinda hoping for bootenkhamens or transparent trousers or airborne attire. Much love.
boi ill have you know that i crafted the tail of the alien and wore that for like 2 months without the head some thing some thing and also i now wear my lime green airdog with Terror-Watt.
