2:11 the reason it was changed was because trolldiers could abuse the sound to bhop garden, so valve made it a lot quieter. Despite the fact you’re only going to see a trolldier who can bhop 5% of matches.
i think the most upsetting about this is that playing gun spy is like throwing his whole role out the window for something dumb but still effective because poeple always underestimate his revolvers except for the ambassador

Well it used to be a large thing with the ambassador before it was nerfed. Good players would just delete people with headshots across the map without the damage falloff
For some reason when I went Gun Spy a lot of people were getting upset about it, not because of my aim but for the simple fact that I was a gun spy. I even had a teammate complain lmaoo
It's cuz for them getting killed by you is embarrassing. Spy is by far the weakest class in the game, so for a spy to not even try to be sneaky, and kill them in a fair fight, it's sending a message on the server that you're a better player than they are. At least when it comes to killing, which is the main focus of 7/9 classes

Similar function as the Dead Ringer for disengaging, and it forces me to get into the thick of the fight to charge it up, so I must step forward in a team fight, which is more fun for everyone.

Funny how almost everyone forget that spy has revolver. Already powerful at long range, it's even more dangerous to anyone against spy that knows about revolver.
I remember playing hightower once and there was another spy 100% dedicated to amby and I deliberately 1 v 1d him as much as possible with the stock revolver. Lots of fun and every time he died he quoted Monty Pythons' Holy Grail. "Now you see the violence inherent to the system."
Honest opinion: Stock Revolver is the best and most consistent gun in the game, good damage and the crits are devastating, great weapon with awesome balance Awesome Video Bro

Maybe I'm just terrible at spy, but I've felt that his revolver really just is his primary weapon, I've found much greater success at just gunning people down around the map and occasionally backstabbing whenever the right opportunity presents itself than constantly looking for backstabs. I feel like people give the knife too much importance because of the oneshot potential.

One of the reasons I legit can't come back to TF2 isn't really the bots or the lack of support. No it's 12:16. And you might not understand the implications of people turning into children and doing this all the time. This is an admission that people do not understand the concept of consistent performance and aim. People that say this immediately... Well, they imply that an enemy having reliable aiming is something that hardly ever exists. Therefore, they're implying the TF2 player base is a bunch of idiots who can't use hitscan. I mean come on, nowadays it's really not difficult to tell who's a bot or who's actually cheating because people don't care about being found out. But I refuse to come back because the people that play this secretly think that this game is just "babee gaem" where people aren't supposed to have skill. You'd have more effort and sportsmanship from the Roblox TF2 ripoff I keep seeing videos about. Valve's not the problem here; the community is.
I agree. As a sniper main I feel all the pain. I get called out for hacks all the time, and it pisses me of. I get kicked from server after server, hell I get banned from Community servers. People can’t accept the fact that there are people better than them, but I still play tf2 because I love the game.
While I feel where you're coming from, I don't really think the majority of people in tf2 are like this. At least in Aus, the community is small enough where the best comp players in our region and the casual pub stompers regularly get put on the same matches as regular sub1000hr players. Because of this, I feel that the playerbase in our region has improved greatly in terms of average skill (for people who play payload/koth at least), know who good players are and acknowledge their skill, and hackusations only come up for the extremely sus cases, with most of the time being right. However, exclusive CTF players are generally doing their own thing with a more relaxed environment, so imo the need to improve to not get pubstomped isn't there and thus, the average skill is lowered in that game mode. I guess it's all region dependent, but from my experience, you develop a reputation if you're good and memorable in pubs. Respect is earned that way, even if a few salty mf'ers can't handle getting killed by others
I mean, people are far more suspicious of people with good aim, because there are actual bots on every single server you join. Of course Valve is the problem here.

you know what makes me "angry" getting stuck doing school on a Saturday, trying to relax and play teamfortress before bed, for some reason get every single server of the things I fucking HATE. for example, blue team rolling us on upward, I find out it's because, "WHERE IS MY TEAM" the entire team, not just the engies, was on last, and then when the cart was on last suddenly my team disappeared again after I decided to go medic, I HAD ONE DEMO TO HEAL, OUT OF 4 OF OUR POWER CLASSES IN THE GAME. then I join a community server, fucking laggy as hell if you stand on the cart, and for some reason I'm so fucking accident prone that I open the door right as an arrow reaches it, a random iron bomber pill enters my face, every time that I would have been able to win an engagement it lags so I get pissed, I leave, and I just go to causal, fucking laggy server then fucking tryhard heaven I'm just . . . I'm just not having a good day, hopefully this video makes it better.
