Hiding spots are a good idea, but only for a while. Spies counter these tactics (demonstrated at 8:21) and cloaked spy humans. Best part is that without him, they probably would've never found you lol. Though, I think they should've just made the outline constantly show last 2 or 3 survivors, and give zombie spy different abilities, because right now he's basically useless for 90% of the round and then somewhat helpful at the very end.
i think they designed some of the zombie classes to counter their human counterpart, which means they're either almost mandatory most of the time (Zengineer) or kinda useless in most situations (Zpy) depending on the prevalence of that class and how difficult to counter for the other zombies they are i haven't really seen any spies use CnD and just try to hide yet because that's fucking boring so Zpy ends up... yeah maybe Zpy should passively be able to see the outline of cloaked and disguised targets and additionally turn invisible after not attacking or taking damage for a while, idrk
