The only time that fatmagic doesnt get voted off immediately is if the entire server is too busy fighting over something stupid like whether cereal is a soup. Movies have taught me that people will put aside their differences when faced with a greater common enemy, but fatmagic shows it just isnt so.

BigBear's take was so incredibly uninformed about random crits, it's kinda hilarious. The reason people don't play competitive has nothing to do with random crits. It's because competitive mode is a genuinely bad experience that costs you money for the sole right of playing on a pay to play server and nothing else. They also force you to run an extremely outdated and bad config by default for "fairness" which makes it so people who don't have a good computer have a clear disadvantage. Not only that, but the mode also had one of the worst launches of any competitive modes in the history of FPS shooters. When the mode first launched, a single player abandoning the match would nullify the entire game, resulting in very lopsided lobbies of premade teammates intentionally quitting when they felt they were losing the game to preserve their own winrate. You can like random crits, that's not a problem, but defending it with "competitive mode being dead" is just so wrong on so many different levels. It's like saying people don't like water because that one guy they disliked in highschool is a human and full of water. It's complete bullshit.
