Hello and welcome to MCT Trains 🚂 This weeks video is an MCT Trains Special on the Transport for Wales (TFW) Class 67 'WAG' trains that run with TFW usually from Cardiff/Swansea up to Manchester or Holyhead and return. These are Class 67 locos pulling/pushing old LNER and GC Mk 4 coaches ( 4 or 5 car variations) with a Driving Van Trailer (DVT) on the end. They are called 'WAG' sets as they were an initiative thought up by the Welsh Assembly Government so 'WAG' for short haha 😆 They have proved very popular and as like all Mark 4 Coaches they are extremely comfy.. Well done TFW for making use of them and keeping loco hauled trains going... 👍
Plenty of action with a number of 67s featured. Some in DB Livery, some TFW some in special liveries.. The usual thrash to and some nice tones at various points!! 😃 This is a follow on from my 2023 video of these rather splendid trains. There be a part 2 to this years WAG series coming toward the end of this year.
