Reckon that smoke BS isn't a client/server issue, but just the way the smoke is rendered in engine. Smoke is just a bunch of flat planes (sprites) that are textured with transparency/opacity included. These sprites always face the player's perspective camera. The image each plane uses as a texture is not symmetrical, giving better cover (more opacity) to the left. So if the texture has greater opacity on the left side than the right, then peeking the smoke to the right will give you better visibility on the enemy while less for the enemy on you (for them the sprite has turned to face their perspective, covering you with the side of the texture with more opacity). tldr; if you gotta peek smoke cover, peek right
@@tappajaav We're aware that peeking the right side is ideal because of body peeks too, but the reality is that we've experienced this in comp matches through the right side too, the placement of the smoke is 100000% client side somehow, it's not such a big issue in pubs but it's really obvious in comp.

no they're not allowed. everyone suspects macros on single taps like this but you can easily get the same effect by binding an alternate key/button to fire and spam both. someone i play with does this when they run the mutant and it looks like a macro. some players don't even need that and can literally LMB click that perfectly. wise up and stop asking presumptive questions.
Canter sight recoil is far more than, let's say a 3x scope, bcuz the gun is leaned, and leaned gun recoil i slightly higher than vertical, a video of WackyJacky explained that perfectly
