His pronunciations of the Japanese names for the special moves are kinda adorable, like when a Korean tries to talk to you in Japanese (⌒-⌒; ) I can understand why people find him annoying though...
@@AveMcree you can find him beasting with every single shoto except oni. And infil never did anything with Ken or e ryu. And daigo has proven to have the best shoto game.
Man by the end of this I was going "Haitani, GO LOW". He kept doing the axe kick and the empty jump throw mixup in the corner after a knock down, I doubt Infiltration would have been ready for an empty jump low or something lol
Clueless313 the thing is, even his technical talk is often wrong. at 0:44 he says onis U2 was a proximity OS, which is simply wrong,because infiltration wasn't even whiffing any normal. he also keeps saying that ryus super has 2 frame startup when in fact it has 3 frames of startup...sometimes you have to wonder where the hell zhi gets his information from and how he can be so confident about it, even when he's wrong. with that being said, I still like his commentary in general ^^
***** "Often wrong" is bullshit, he's probably the most knowledgeable commentator out there. He definitely wasn't serious about calling that a proxy OS, it makes no sense, and Zhi was putting "proximity" before and after everything during that tournament, as a joke. That's also a common Ryu misconception, although I'm surprised he didn't know that.
@@askagorn nah. Zhi is wrong very, very frequently. It’s even more obvious when he commentates with xian or someone knowledgeable, because he’s corrected once a minute.
You can’t combo into it unless it’s from a Focus, so not really. It’s mostly used to run away from the corner since her only reversal option is EX orochi and it sucks. EX Karakusa has armor but is mad short, so sometimes having a way to reset the corner knockdown is all she needs to get back into the game. That said I would probably go with W ultra to have that Seichusen option. The damage becomes pretty low tho, so it doesn’t threaten fireballs as much, which might be the one other fringe case for U2 to hit. It’s a complicated choice on some matchups for sure.
Well, some characters have invulnerable reversals into Ultra... some have cross up ultras... Makoto has a slow (7-9f iirc) command grab that loses to regular grabs...
