Can't believe this is my first time hearing this in over 20 years. I heard this only one time and I was 9 years old. I remembered this beat and searched hard for this song and today like a miracle I found it.

(in the height of my partying/clubbing days) when this came out So if you can.....Imagine what parties without phones/cameras/ social media were like. It was basically "anything goes" and people were way more likely to take risks cus every event was pretty much "what happened here stays here"...so unless you were there you couldnt verify or deny what happened And even if ppl gossiped it was heresay So if you (men or women) did anything you wouldn't want people to know about ... you could deny it...m. cus there was no proof . I used to go to papas and beer In ROSARITO Mexico for memorial day weekend every year and people getting felatio on the dance floor was a regular occurrence Alotta yall millennials were conceived because of these parties. so you all should really thank the neptunes Anything they had a hand in..used to get the party and/or club jumpin. had my CD stolen years ago. forgot about this song. then one day it pops in my head and only took me 2 days to find it. thank god i remembered neptunes was mentioned in the song.
I got to meet the Alkaholics after a small show they did in Memphis some years back. Tash was real cool, he stood around with a small group of us talking about some of everything for a good hour or so. I apologized for the wack turnout as Memphis was never a hip hop town, he was like "yo as long as i get paid, idgaf!" Jamal from Illegal opened and was outside bumming cigarettes from me (hope hes doing okay btw). Never met Pharrell, but I found out a few yrs ago that we were in our Jr High School at the same time. If he was really on the skateboard tough, we may have crossed paths though.

Pharell has come such a long way. I was in middle school when this came out, and at this point didnt even know who this guy was who appeared in all the videos lol. Look at him now.
Nah man its just the evolution of music, everyone changes. Dont know if you listened to this album but, the XO experience is one of their best albums, one of my favorite hip hop albums of all time.

@@deezy81 not really man. Look what year this song came out. Then look at the year when the Neptunes were popular enough to have people what their real names where. Took them til probably their 2nd album for them to be A list. Only hip hop fans knew who they were cuz of their earlier beats before they really blew up.
@@geegarcia7858 you're wrong. This song was done in mid 2000 and released in 2001. The Neptunes caught fire after Superthug and What You Lookin At by Mase. After that it was the Jay-Z, NSYNC, constant Noreaga collaborations, and - of course - Mystikal all who were on fire at the time. They had a name by this time.
