In court you don't do predetermination. The judge must be formally informed. Remember it's for the first time all the accused appear together in one court.
I felt that he relied too much on Miss Bester. I di believe that prisoner Bester must have foods specific to Diabetics and that if he ruled as such, there would be no need for the attorney to have meetings with whomever provides the meals! It is also the right of the prisoner to wear his choice of clothing while in custody because the correction service will treat him unfairly. Instead, the Judge simply is asking thr attorney to run to different offices and to take the legal representation calls to another office which he himself said, is hehe clients right for trial
The capacity of thinking of our lawyers sometimes puzzles me. The lawyers must know these cases are in the public eye and the courts proceedings are watched by the communities. We are expecting them to be fully prepared and avoid wasting time and the dragging of time . They really procastinate...😠😠
If this case falls through the cracks allowing these criminals to walk free, it is going to be a major insult to injury, also a big FU to hard working tax payers in this country!

He does not want a special treatment, as a lawyer he has rights to eat right food and also the same rights to talk to his legal team any time when he wants. Secondly he has the right to wear his normal clothes. Those are His right .

The courts don't allow prisoners to wear their orange,Bester is the only jailed prisoner,the rest are awaiting prisoner's and always in their civil clothes even in prison.

I think Nandipha's father is enjoying the trial. It's an entertainment to him. He looks relaxed and calm. He is enjoying the attention, cameras. I think this drama has added a vibe in his life. He has something to look forward to. His life is no longer boring.

It should be so but in SA that doesn't seem to happen unless they appear in camera from the prison. That's what should be happening to save money and prevent further escapes.
I think he will involve them once trial starts, for now there is still no certainity. Remember Dr Nandipha still has SCA appeal pending if she wins then she might go out and Thabo might also say he was wrongfully arrested.

In S.A prison is for the poor, Thabo bester and nandipha they don't look like prisoners to me or they are not treated like one. Our government is failing in almost every department.
