I beg to differ as of the former president Mbeki, what Ramaphosa did to him he deserves it, I'm saying this unapologetically bcs Mbeki uttered very vehemently prior to 29 may elections about how corrupt the ANC under Ramaphosa is, but surprisingly he went out to campaign for the very ANC, he is not a man of his words, now Ramaphosa in a way he is saying to him you are not honest, and if we could allow you to speak, you can throw a bomb in your speach and all of us will be seriously embarrassed.
Mboweni didn't care about Public Servants. He might have cared about the Economy and the Markets which didn't make any difference but he cut off a 12% increment of Public Servants when he was appointed Minister Of Finance. Well done President Thabo Mbeki!

Ppl stop expecting so much from Ramaphosa. Everybody knows that Mbeki hates Ramaphosa with passion. What most ppl don't know is tht this beef started from 1994 after Ramaphosa gave Madiba a piece of mind for choosing Mbeki over him after working so hard for ANC in World Trade Centre negotiations, being the first SG of ANC, help in establishing Mine unions, etc yet Mbeki did nothing for the ANC. Even ppl said that mayne Madiba chose Mbeki as his successor over Cyril bcoz he was honoring Govan Mbeki. Ppl don't know there is nothing Ramaphosa can say or do to remove hatred from Mbeki towards him.

If it was Mboweni's wishes that former President TM should pay tribute in his funeral, that was supposed to be respected. If there were attempts to snubed TM, the family could have insisted . The funeral cannot be treated as ANC event.
But I don't see what President Ramaphosa did wrong, and I don't think he had a hand for a mear speech that the former president must be excluded and he must speak alone I think it doesn't make any sense but we need to find out the real truth,otherwise this for me is just a witch hunt we don't have the real facts.

They are disappointed over the fact that they DESPERATELY USED Thabo Mbeki in their election campaigns - and still they failed to get the outright majority vote. Thabo (and other ANC veterans) didn't win them any favours in the elections - now they deem him as useless.

I think that president Mbeki should have engaged Mbeki if he didn't like what Thabo said about recycling Tito, i could see the interaction between these two presidents in that funeral, president Cyril is fortunate Thabo is still energetic, active and bright, he would have explained why he appointed Tito as the circumstances dictated that way, reorganizing old guards for the specific purpose, but maybe something is terrible wrong in the presidency, Cyril is such a nice guy, look at the Thabo Mbeki speech now
