What did the plane fly on? What did the camera turn on? Batteries? Gas, diesel,…? “The goal justifies the way to get to it” I guess the answer would be of opposers? In that case, for opposers it seems that humanity is the problem. Proponents of humanity look for solutions, realizing there is no free lunch…or we would have ceased to exist as a species a long time ago... So maybe that’s the real goal of opposers?
Definitely not Getchell Open Pit Mine. I work at Turquoise Ridge (Getchell) Underground. You don’t support lithium? Please remove the batteries from your phone, video camera, and probably the plane you’re bumping around in. You know very little about mining and its importance/necessity. If you don’t call Northern Nevada home, kick rocks.
North America has vast expanses ...this one won't be missed in 100 years...I don't agree with the building of EV vehicles but many smaller devices need the mineral
4.6 million gallons of fresh clean drinking water needed every day to mix with sulfuric acid to develop this deep pit mining so the rich can drive a tesla. I ask you, what is more important to the southwest: clean water or a car no one can afford?
You think lithium is only used in cars? Lol. Clean drinking water in northern Nevada? Lol. You’re not familiar with the area and it’s higher than average arsenic and mercury levels
@@fightswithspirits915 lol. Nice try. You mean cyanide? Little secret…. cyanide and arsenic are not the same thing. Arsenic hasn’t been produced in the US in almost 40 years. Read more before you comment. Lmaoooooooo
Why let America, The world richest and innovative country to beg for lithium from other countries, when they can produce their own lithium from their own mother land. What mined in America will stay in America. A strong vision and mission of US administration, Why not support for a good cause.
This is the contact information for the Ndep people who approved the project so fast: ndep.nv.gov/uploads/documents/phone99.pdf America Lithium also is starting a mine in Peru where there are very few environmental protections. They are a publicly traded company too on the NYSE, with investors, relying on this mine to meet their bottom line. 100 wells plus more are confirmed to have already been completed according to the company’s July, 2022 shareholder meeting, on a video posted on you tube - check out around minute 33:33 and see what the CEO says, pretty much, that we could be using Sodium Ion batteries instead of Lithium. Sodium Ion batteries use salt and graphite, not Lithium, I’m pretty sure no Cobalt, either. SO, why is this Lithium being pushed on everyone, just like in the past with other industries... What green plan??? This is not green!!!
