finishing out my thailand trip chiang mai ❤️
this week i went to chiang mai, one of the most popular cities in thailand. i spent the week hanging out with elephants, cafe hopping & trying khao soi for the first time (so good), hiking to the most beautiful temple, & learning how to cook pad thai in a thai cooking class! this week was so much fun for me & reminded me why I love traveling so much.

Omg, LOL! That restaurant experience was hilarious! My husband and I LOVE Thai food, and would highly recommend you talk to the locals about where to eat. Start with asking the people who work at the hostel because tiktok/social media is not where it's at in this case.

just a tip :) when you get to japan send a package to yourself back to the USA that way you don't have to lug all of your souvenirs around. I did this many times while long term traveling, especially when I got to a big city in a country, it was easier to find post offices, etc. I just hate to see you struggling with all these bags lol

I hope you have sm fun in japan!! my best friend is there in the countryside on an internship right now 🫡 i will say, from what theyve told me the culture & language barrier can be a bit tough (and colorist/rac!st) but generally people are kind to foreigners and overall are very polite. its so pretty and i can only imagine you loving the temples there!

Ugh, I wanna do everything you’re doing😭😭😭This just seems so peaceful!! Makes me wanna save bunches of money and do something like this, I wanna escape America 💔Especially being by yourself, you can be so free. Japan is going to be different from everything else. Try to visit Dontonbori in Osaka. You can get there by the Shinkansen train if you flew to Tokyo

That lounge at the end in Chiang Mai also has free massage as well. I’m from there but live in the us now. The chase cards are good for lounges everywhere internationally but sucks for the most part in the US:/

HELLLL NO lol! I can’t with large spiders which is why I will never go to Thailand. I’ve heard multiple ppl at this point complain about tarantulas and other large bugs in the Accomodations they visit. I could neverrrrrrrrrr!!!! 😭
