If you take the train from Bangkok the fare is 10 Baht and you also get to see Mae Klong Railway Market - where the train literally moves slowly into the food stalls and the shops have to move out of the way in real time. Oh for the noodles you usually have to season it with a little bit of vinegar, sugar, and fish sauce before you eat it.

mike always put the good tasting one in his strictly dumpling channel, the rest? is in his mikey chen channel. he did say in one of his vids that he only shows place that he thinks worth recommending in strictly dumpling channel. I remember I watched some of his vid (in mikey chen channel) where he said, it doesn't tastes good, or it is not worth the money, it is not up to the hype, etc (and ofc the restaurant didn't appear in strictly dumpling channel)

Its probably the hot sauce that came with the river prawns, as that usually sits out in thai hot weather for the duration of when they make it til it runs out. anything cooked is generally safe; aside from seafood as thailand isn't sanitary and the standards for which seafood should be kept isn't upheld in thailand in open markets. So if you all have a weak stomach just forgo the dipping sauces unless you're in a nicer restaurant

2500 baht for just going to floating market and back? Usually market rate is 2500-3000 baht for 8-9 hrs... Fully air conditioning VIP van and not taxi... Taxi for such trip is abt 1200-1500 bahts.

I was shocked watching you ate the steamed fish. We usually fry the fish and eat it with a special namprik kapi, and boiled or fresh veggy, and a good rice. Super nice.

You should check out the Khlong Lat Mayom Floating Market... to get there costs 300baht by taxi from Bangkok. And lots of taxis coming back from there so you don't have to book one for the day.

I hope that your pain eases fast. Our mouths are the best and fastest at healing itself. I have pain all the time due to complicated illnesses as I'm terminally ill and I use RU-vid to help distract me from the pain. hey Chonny and Dalena, every time I travel to eat in Asian countries i bring Imodium or Pepto Bismol to help with those tummy aches. Happy eating. Hope that helps.
