Thai soccer team reunite with some of the Australian divers who helped saved them from cave 

Dr Harris risked his medical license and reputation by going through with the anaesthetic idea, which has NEVER been done before, to save those boys. Absolute legend.

I followed this event from start to finish back in 2018 every single day and after waking up that one morning and seeing that all of the boys were now rescued, gave me such a massive sense of fulfilment... ultimately what I took away from this whole event was that when the world joins together for a single cause there is NOTHING that we as human beings cannot achieve together... So many nationalities and countries banded together for this seemingly impossible rescue but it was a success... why was it a success? because with all the countries involved there were no differences involved... there was no racial tension, no political tension, no self promotion at stake, the only thing in mind and in focus was rescuing these boys and the world united and did it. The world is full of beautiful places and beautiful people and we just don't get the privilege to hear enough about it on the news.....

When this happend, I watched every minute of it that I could. There was something really beautiful that happend . I went into the comments of the YT channel and it occured to me that these kids had become everyones children. The people across the world felt so much concern and worry for the safety of everyone involved. They truly became "Our Boys"💜

คุณหมอริชาร์ดแฮรีส ท่านนี้เป็นวิสัญญีแพทย์และเป็นนักดำน้ำลึกผู้สำรวจถ้ำต่างๆมากว่า30ปี ชาวออสเตรเรีย คือผู้วางแผนอันแยบยล ใช้ทั้งศาสตร์ด้านการแพทย์และศิลปะการดำน้ำลึกและยากยิ่ง ช่วยเด็กๆอ่อนแรงทั้ง13คนให้สามารถออกจากถ้ำได้โดยปลอดภัย ท่านต้องวางยาสลบเด็กๆ ติดตั้งอุปกรณ์เครื่องช่วยหายใจพร้อมถังอ็อกซิเจนในขณะอยู่ในน้ำ และต้องลอดถ้ำที่แคบแค่ลำตัวลอดผ่าน และบางแห่งมีระดับน้ำลึกถึง10เมตร เด็กๆจะถูกห่อในเปล และมีนักประดาน้ำประกบลำเลียงแบบ1:1 ในขณะที่น้ำสีขุ่นมองไม่เห็นอะไรได้แล้วแค่ในระยะ10ซม. นักประดาน้ำต้องกอดเด็กไว้แนบอก ต้องลำเลียงให้ถูกต้องตามลักษณะแผนภูมิของถ้ำที่แคบและกว้างต่างกันเป็นระยะ ที่สำคัญคือมีน้ำเต็มถ้ำ แม้หน่วยสูบน้ำจะทำงานระบายน้ำไม่หยุดก็ตาม มีน้ำจากภูเขาไหลงลงมาไม่ขาดสาย ต้องระบายน้ำทิ้งในนาข้าวชาวบ้านแถบนั้น เหมือนคนใข้ก่อนผ่าตัดที่ต้องถูกรมยา จนเมื่อผ่าตัดเสร็จ ก็ฟื้นขึ้นมา เด็ก13หมูป่าก็เช่น เมื่อถูกลำเลียงออกมาก็ฟื้นขึ้น เพราะถ้าฟื้นในขณะลำเลียงก็จะตกใจและอาจถีบตัวหรือเหนื่อย หมดแรง และขาดประสบการณ์การดำน้ำในถ้ำก็จะเสี่ยงต่อชีวิตทั้งของตัวเด็กเองและกับนักประดาน้ำผู้นำทาง การดมยาสลบจึงเป็นทางออกที่ดีที่สุดและคุณหมอแฮรีสเลือกใช้วิธีการนี้ ถือว่าเป็นความบังเอิญหรือโชคชะตาที่ในสถานการณ์นี้มีนายแพทย์วิสัญญีนักประดาน้ำถ้ำลึกมือดีเข้ามาร่วมทีม จึงทำให้ความช่วยเหลือเด็กติดถ้ำสำเร็จปลอดภัยและบรรลุเป้าหมาย ในตอนแรกที่ท่านได้รับการติดต่อมาช่วยเหลือ ท่านคิดว่าต้องมาช่วยกู้ซากหรือเด็กได้เสียชีวิตแล้ว แต่เมื่อเด็กยังมีชีวิต มันมีความยากขึ้นเพราะต้องรักษาชีวิตเด็กๆให้ได้ถึง13ชีวิต ขนาดที่ว่าจ่าแซมซึ่งเป็นนักดำน้ำหน่วยซีล ทำหน้ากากหลุด ยังถึงกับเสียชีวิต ดังนั้นทุกภารกิจในครั้งนี้จึงมีความเสี่ยงต่อชีวิตได้เสมอ

I just saw the documentary and heroes all of them, as for the brit divers who came up with the idea what can be said that doesn't defy the odds, imagine if they had not found those 4 workers and realised that if they panicked what would the kids do amd came up with idea of knocking them out, legends just legends, heroes don't play football heroes save lives

I salute all the rescuers for their immense efforts during this rescue mission. Absolute Hero’s, mission successful and a relief that all the boys were saved.

I still think a GoFund should be set up by for the real life Coach Eak, he deserves an easier life, not a free ride, just easier (education/house). Having lost both parents and his brother to local diseases. It would need to be made viral, so we could all send a few $$, and overseen by a recognised reporter, maybe that ABC guy, James Longman, who reported on the scene over those 18 days.

Interesting that since the brilliant rescue of these boys in Thailand there seems to have been a fair bit of bias in reporting of the events. Without the medical expertise of the Australian divers this whole rescue may not have been possible. Richard Harris an Australian Anaesthetist was also a deep cave rescue diver. The only one with the qualifications needed.. It was him who went into the cave each day to set up the boys for transportation and administer the sedation necessary to get the boys out alive. While the British divers did a fantastic job in finding and rescuing the boys all British reporting of the event has glossed over any mention of any other people involved except the British. Such a shame they can't be gracious enough to acknowledge the wonderful international effort. (eg Apparently Britain won WWI and WWII. The Americans were hardly involved.)
