Got a quote from these guys and with all there extra costs they were almost double other dentists in Thailand and nit much cheaper than Australia.

The same. In Australia can be found the same prices. They charged me in Bangkok for unauthorised expenses, the work of dentist is extra, plus much more. They advertise one price but at the out come it triples. That was in mid 2023. I also traveled and fixed some teeth in Bangkok in 2008 and the prices had been affordable and even can say great. Not today!

Dental is that much cost in Thailand as USA or Switzerland. Not cheap at all..

It's about 1/2 to 2/3 the cost but if you factor in flights and accommodation it's not

@@Galvoflysoz nobody will going to Thailand only for the dental appointment 🤦‍♀️. People are going for long vacations and then they schedule all their med appointment. In my case I stayed for 3 months traveling around the county. What I would pay in USA that amount covered my 3 months vacation including the dental cost.

@@sashaswan-nq1ov my own investigation has led me to believe turkey dental care is very good especially if implants are needed since they are very expensive in many places and turkey not so much. india is also a viable option for implants.

i know a retired american doctor living in thailand that chooses to do all non emergency dental work in vietnam. high quality, high tech and a fraction of thailand cost. example; root canal treatment thai. 300-500 usd. viet; 70-100 usd. ceramic crown thai; 250 or higher. viet; 120 usd. crown porcelain metal thai; 200 usd. viet; 80usd. viet ceramic molar onlay ips Emax 160 usd. thai price; did not inquire

@chezzachezza7325 it will always vary for each individual. All the dentists in Thailand advertise there prices online. Do some research. Your looking at between 50000thb-80000thb per implant finished. Some like the dentist above charge a lot of extra fees like nurses and sterilisation. Try and find one that is inclusive. I used Bangkok smile.

@Snip59 that's per tooth. I just got 3 implants two crowns and two extractions . It was half price of Australia. But add the travel expenses of two trips it would work out similar to more. First trip was a lot of prep work and had a lot of stitches in mouth and was very sore. So wasn't an enjoyable time for two weeks as I needed bone graft and other stuff done. Just got back and spent three weeks and had ablast. Only had three visits to Dentist and were short. Like 1hr each. This time I had a proper holiday.
