thailand skyrocketed to 1 of nr1 popular destination since weed legalisation it went into top 5. never was before.. If they are to ban marijuana in thailand , all the businesses and money involved it would be like suicide of a country.

The fact that over half the population applied for license and there has been no major negative incidence since weed has been legal proves that the legalization is doing more good than bad .plz consider how harsh it can be if it is reversed.

Aren't people just sick of being pivoted against toxic and deadly alcahol over weed, just show me the victims, along with the details and circumstances surrounding each case, then we'll compare them with alcahol, save the gossip, anyone untruthful around such matters should be ashamed of themselves, we all can see the truth 🤔🙏🐈🕊️✌️

I live in Thailand. The person offer this law is doctor Surely, marijuana has properties that can help in certain treatments, so doctors sell fewer medications, possibly because it conflict of interest their Thus, they might push it back to being illegal again. Currently, media or journalists in Thailand heavily criticize marijuana. They say marijuana is a crime that makes people go crazy and harm others or even their parents. But for me, every time I use marijuana, it makes me calm and peaceful, unable to harm anyone. I can't even gather the strength to get up to grab food. I think those crazy behaviors come from using amphetamines more than marijuana....

watch how he changes his tune in a few months, when he finds out how much tax and tourism money they would loose.

Keep it recreational, if you can smoke a cigarette in "open-air areas" should be able to do the same with a joint or blunt

It’s true it’s because so many Canadian and Americans came over and tried pushing out Thais. This also flooded the market with BC and Cali outdoor boof packs getting sold as indoor for 80 and 90 a gr in tourist traps . Brooght in more violence over the competition. Drove prices back down and the bottom fell out.

@@timpage5021 That is not true and you're spreading lies and false propaganda. The newly elected Prime Minister is taking a zero "drug" policy stance. This decision has nothing to do with the quality of the cannabis in the kingdom or foreigners trying the product. The tourist count is down in Thailand and these "so many Canadians and Americans" that you spoke of don't exist. Read a little before spreading false truths.

@unition2226 It's true news I'm Thailand people.. The government changes the law.. it's a matter of benefits for Thai politics in each faction Many people here are investing heavily in opening marijuana businesses, which come with high costs. If the government changes its stance back to illegal, it could lead to the closure of marijuana shops nationwide. There's nothing to support those who have legally opened marijuana shops. I'm one of them 🙂 I still hope it won't go back to being illegal, hope that there will be much stricter control, ten times more than before. In the past, my country had issues due to the lack of clear regulations, making it easy for minors to access marijuana as some shops here sell to those under 20. There's no law to certify marijuana control, leading to various problems. The government here introduces strange laws or policies that don't address the core issue. For example, they consider possessing 5 amphetamine pills as non-drug , even though it's more severe and dangerous than marijuana. (Sorry if my English translation is confusing ..I'm not fluent in English)
