Lord Ganesha is worshipped both in Hinduism and Buddhism. He is god of fortune. Similarity is there because both religions grew side by side without much difference in ideology.

A correction, Shiva lingam is the representation of Shiva, we have different types of yantra or symbols which represents the Sakti the mother goddess. Shiva lingam is not the genetile.... Bcz in many countries Shiva lingam has been found where shiva's head or body was curved on to it. There would not the curving of shiva's face right if it was genetile.

Both spread together. Buddhism and Hinduism are like sects of a group of similar belief systems. I myself am Hindu by birth, but we still worship in buddhist shrines. Mahanirvana tantra is practiced in both the religions.

Ganesh is a wealth deity in Mahayana and Vajrayana Buddhism. There is even a Ganesh sutra. The distinction between Buddhism and non-Buddhism is taking refuge in the three Jewels or not. Deities might be accepted to give temporary help, but cannot help with liberation/nirvana/moksha. Lord Shiva is also often seen as an emanation of Mahakala.

When people address a religion, they're not just addressing it from the standpoint of scripture, but also from the beliefs and practices of believers. When taking the believers into account, yes, Hindus can be extremely superstitious.

We have navagraha mantra each mantra says about the 9 planets for example mangla mantra(mars) om Dharani garbhaya sambutham vidhyuth kanthi samaprabam kumaram sakthi hastham cha mangalam pranamamyaham which clearly says mars took birth from earth (dharani) woomb who represents power , before galileo gelili found out that sun is center of our solar system we knew all nine planets exactly were it is placed and created panchanga 😊😊😊

When Prophet Mohammad broke the idols when there 32 one of them was allah. Islam didn't split from hinduism but there is a deep connection with a veil of mystery. Or else hindus and idol worshippers specifically wouldn't be targeted in quran and time immerorial

Here there is. They don't want to see the REAL syncretism of Hinduism to Buddhism, what Thai Buddhist really believe in Hindu sacred figures. They are subordinate to Buddha for Thai culture. Indian Hindus will be outrageous when they see 'Hindu rituals' that offer to the Buddhist kings. Go and learn history. Kingdoms like Kalinga, Banga/Vanga, Cholas, Pandyas etc spreaded hinduism in Southeast Asia along with Buddhism. But hinduism became more popular but after the introduction of thervada Buddhism and islam, hinduism wiped out but the culture remained hinduism. Many Hindus gods still worshipped there. Even the biggest statue of ganesha is in Thailand, Biggest Vishnu temple Angkor Wat in Cambodia. The biggest hindu percentage island i.e Bali in Indonesia, around 88% Hindus.
