The first steamed food, it feels like the food that Hong Kong-style restaurants sell. The Thai temple is so beautiful and special, thank you for taking us to visit. You look good with a beard, like a Hollywood star, very handsome. You can go to Hollywood to make movies in the future, I believe you will be very succeed!👍😃👏 第一道蒸食,感覺就是港式餐廳在賣的食物;泰國廟好漂亮,很特別,謝謝帶我們去參觀; 你留鬍子很好看,很像好萊塢明星,很帥氣;以後可以去好萊塢拍電影,我相信你會成功! You did a really great job!謝謝分享, thanks for sharing!👍😄👏
I don't think people should talk about other people's private affairs. If he wants to say it, he will naturally say it, please stop that behavior, thank you! Please give him some time, be kind, be patient, and please give him more support, not stress! 我覺得大家不應該談論人家的私事,如果他想說自然會說,請停止那種錯誤行為; 請給他一點時間,友善一點,耐心一點,請給他多一點支持,而不是壓力,謝謝!
Thank you friend Luke for sharing another day in Phuket and showing us its culinary charms. Thai street food is wonderfully delicious. The tortilla... uffffffff.😲 Did you know that roll ice cream is born in Thailand. It is known as the I-tim Pad, Ice Cream Role.🤟👍
Always enjoyed travelling with Luke and Sabrina on their food travels, but we miss our New Brunswick girl. Wishing you both the vey best. The pandemic has taken its toll on everyone’s lives and where we thought our futures were headed. Take the time you need to reflect, reevaluate and hopefully renew, if it is what is best for you both. You may be already redefining and recreating yourselves, but Sabrina was the light and lilt to Luke’s straight and steady. Miss you guys! If together isn’t the way forward, as you aren’t the same kids that headed out years ago from the Maritimes anymore, hoping Sabrina might consider vlogging Canada/North America a la Brian Downie style. Cultural adventures and iconic sights with food & bevys as the tasty accents. I’d send you a CN Tower SkyWalk Pass to kick things off, if I knew how to reach you. Heck, start with Shediac, Acadia and wooden spoon lessons beneath the giant lobster statue - the NB Experience Guide has tons of starting places to offer! Tidal bore rafting ‘up’ the Bay of Fundy’s chocolate milk rivers, teetering Hopewell Rocks kayaking, Grand Manan sealife tours, Charlo’s blueberry honey collection, the beachcombers foraging cookups, the Acadian trail at the time of the Tintanmarre e.g. Memramcook on August 15th, Voyageur canoeing in Kouchibouguac or down the Miramichi River, the Mi’kmaq Metepengiac or Red Bank Heritage unique stays, all the crafting sessions local artisans have to offer … the list is endless. Hugs to you both!
It's actually pathetic how entitled some people are here. Luke and Sabrina should be allowed their own privacy. Their situation has nothing to do with anyone else. You are owed nothing. You are just a person who watches their content, for free. Grow up.
So I've been seeing so many comments from people about Sabrina, and wanted to say that I read where he said that she was in Canada, was doing fine, and that for this Thai series he filmed without her. The channel description hasn't changed, and the channel photograph is still the same, which tells me that she is planning on coming back when she is able. As much as it's an adjustment for us to not see her in the videos, it's got to be even more of an adjustment for him to travel and film without her. It's entirely possible that because of the personal things they are dealing with, they aren't sure what the future holds, so they can't tell us what they aren't sure of. Regardless, I think we should just keep them in our thoughts, send love and light, and let them know that no matter what happens, we are here to support them. Much Much Love As Always Luke & Sabrina! ❤️
Thanks for visiting my hometown Luke. For the O-Tao, can I recommend you the one in front of the noodle shop called Yao Yentafo (เยาว์เย็นตาโฟ). The noodle shop also has very authentic Phuket local fresh spring roll and a similar noodle soup dish to the one you had in this video too. Hope you get to try it :D
Hey Luke, nice video! What happened to Sabrina, though? After following you guys for 5+ years, I have found it unsettling to see her just disappear from the videos without the situation being even acknowledged. Please, just a brief explanation would help, no need to be personal.
Hey Val, I’ll let you guys know as soon as I can I’m truly sorry to leave you all wondering but Sabrina is definitely healthy and safe in Canada! I’ll update soon
It was really interesting and eye opening to see that "Thai style" dim sum. I'm not surprised that such a thing exists. Given the Chinese, particularly Cantonese, influence in a lot of Thai food. I am surprised, however, that I haven't seen this dim sum before. Thanks, Luke, for spotlighting this in Phuket.
Phuket is more of the Hokkien influenced than Cantonese. Most of the food items mentioned are actually Hokkien based, even the composition of the Phuket Dim Sum is not purely Cantonese. Most of the Phuket Chinese are related to the Penang Chinese who are predominantly Hokkiens. Yes Bak Kut Teh is Hokkien.
Thank you Luke for the amazing food tour of Phuket/Thailand. Mee Hokkien looked so yummy with so much loaded in a small bowl. We appreciate the good work and please continue to do your best. Cheers
Even more psyched to visit Thailand now thanks to this new series!!! It’s been pushed back two years for me so fingers crossed for the spring 🤗🤗🤗 you always manage to find the most delicious foods!!! Mmm dim sum looks good but omg that oyster pancake!!!! 😍😍😍
Is Sabrina okay? Maybe I missed something. I've noticed she is MIA & Look forward to her opinion. Hope she is well! Really enjoy you both any place you are.

these pickled chillies found on the table, just pick up the chillies, not the vinegar - dont ruin the taste of the dish by adding the vinegar used for the pickle... the same goes for pickled gerkin for burger, u put in the gerkin, u dont put the brine into the burger
the O-Tao really looks similar to our orh luak, except we don't use taro, just starch, eggs and oysters :) great video! miss the time when i was in Phuket years ago
Ya know Luke?? It just isn't as good without Sabrina, she adds something that Chopstick Travel needs. I'll stay with you for a while yet, but as a content creator, my advice is GET SABRINA BACK IN YOU VIDEOS. She has a different opinion and she is a big part of the video.
Hey Luke, You made a mistake in thisvideo. The temple you visited is called wat chaithararam ( or wat Chalong ). The temple you refered to is located in Ayutthaya.
so weird title ?I think the whole video mainly Cantonese food & Southeast Style Fried food, Hokkien noodle is just little part of it. Then Hokkien noodle shown in title ? And it's not typical Hokkien noodle, actually Southeast Asia Hokkien noodle.
Hi Luke. Love your channel. I think you're one of the luckiest people on earth because you are using your time here to just explore and travel. Do you think you can make videos about how to travel on a budget? Your videos are inspiring me to get out and travel before I'm too old (mid-life crisis - I'm 49 and last time I was on a plane was 19 years ago). But travel seems prohibitively expensive. I'd love tips about how to plan a trip, find affordable places to stay, and cheap transportation. Thanks.
Luke i swear you literally took the words out of my mouth when you said remiinds you of TURKISH ICE CREAM :))))) DRONE SHOTS ARE SPOT ON AS ALWAYS!!!!!!
Phuket has a huge influence from Hokkien Chinese due to the past immigrants. So food there is kinda a Thai Hokkien Style. So not surprised that you are not recognized many of the dim sums.
I’m so interested in how you plan a (food) trip! Could someone explane? Like how do you now where to go, which place is good, what to do when the shop you wanted to go is closed and about knowing what to order? Do you guys ever get sick eating at public places because some fender’s/restaurants don’t look that hygienic and clean. Btw been watching there videos for years now, always fun when they show the surroundings and place’s they visit, lovely content but could you guys maybe give a 1/10 and be a little more specific about what you/taste? The more detail the more fun it is to watch ;)
I'm not a fan of o-Tao as well but I think I do understand why the shop so popular because not many shops are selling and people won't cook this at home
@@nandananandhu875 Your wrong if you fucking follow the channel you would see what message she left for everyone. She moved on and isn’t dating Luke anymore.
i know some of you folks have been watching the channel for a while and have become used to the relationship, but let luke divulge info on his relationship when he feels he can/should. otherwise, just enjoy the content. there is a lot of stuff to take in and enjoy.
I wanted to post something evil about people sticking their noses into other peoples personal life but instead I'll just say that thank you Luke for keeping real and being a true pro, keeping us entertained while you are going thru something difficult in your life. And hey, if you are coming to Finland, message me and I will help any way I can !
How can that be personal???youre kidding right?they both share the vlog right?so we have or i have the right to ask as a subcriber if were is sabrina!am i right???
It's been asked a million times, Luke has answered that he/they will give an update as soon as possible. Their relationship and the thing that has lead to this 'arrangement' = totally personal
