Thailand, Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesians... these countries are good in sepak takraw, and since the acrobatic, borderline-ninja skills in Sepak Takraw can be well applied in this TEQBALL sports, pretty sure that they will sweep the competition.
I always think this Teqball is just another boring sport but wow! Thailand made it more interesting indeed! The sky kick adds a strength and power to it. Brilliant.
We Thais people played Sepak Takraw in our sport daily live 4 workout everywhere. And also learn in the schools everywhere over the whole country. So never wow if this sport going to the world played it.and more popular.I can tell.
Why many comments feel cry like a baby when they did like that. Someone talk about ban high kick. It's funny. all of this you need change the rules for who was not deverlop skills. Anything not still forever. Welcome for this My SEA♥️
From my opinion its not fair .high kick need to ban ..unlike like sepak takraw .the killers can block the spike from opposition..but for this they are no blocking..It
@@HF-wq4yqfrom my oppinion banning is unfair lol because SEA players have their strengths and weaknesses. SEA people needs to jump high and compete in the air to defeat the height advantage that the European and western people a have. Look at that top player Banyic's legs, it's longer than your future lol.
As a Thai person I am really proud that our Teqball players has shown to the world our acrobatic techniques. This techniques is really difficults and take years and years to learn. The player needs to have great basic of gymnastic...strength of core body and a lot more. It is not easy to gain such techniques only practices and years of practice would take the player to this point. Thank you for making us proud.
I hope they are not going to ban the air kicks from Teqball in the future competitions. In my opinion, The air kicking is unique and charming making this sport more fun, interesting, exciting and popular in the future. The fan base will span to many countries in Asia and Europe, gaining more viewers for sure. The players from countries that don't have the air kicking skills can hire coaches from South East Asian countries to train them plus their existing excellent football skills. They are going to be strong, hard-to-beat teams in no time.
Air kicker is the another level, so i think everyone will lean to do that too. Thai team they have technic from local sport they call “Sepak takraw”, then i think this is very easy for Thai team to win.
One thing Thai team must learn well known, Takraw will be not proved for winner. You can see what's the Thai team paintpoint in match. Thai team is beginner in this sport.
Teqball is the blended sport of football, sepak-takraw and table tennis. Brazil is one of the football kings, whereas Thailand is the world's sepak-takraw champion. So, it is such a good match to prove as to which skill is more important for this sport - football vs. sepak-takraw skills.
@@somsaksompong689 ... You can see the rule and regulation of Teqball. For example, no hand is allowed to touch the ball or the floor during kicking. Additionally, the maximun set point is just 12 (similar to 21 in sepak-takraw) with the winning of 2:0 or 2:1. The referees dress up with proper shirts like suits in sepak-takraw. In fact, Hungarians play sepak-takraw quite well compared with other Europian teams in ISTAF. It is therefore no doubt for the sport research team to consider sepak-takraw as part of this new sport.
Look into a positive side, this sport may draw the europeans to the speak takraw sport which, in my point of view it is much more exciting than this teq ball.
Wow!!! I really love the acrobatic style of Teqball that Thailand brings to this international tournament. It really diversifies the technique and arts of this sport. Well done also so the Brazillian team. Such a great gala match to watch.
@@crazyname1462 true Thailand is king of sepak takraw. Malaysian and Indonesian also pro at this as well. These three countries always compete in the final
i still wonder why the whole world dont want to acknowledge sepak takraw. this sport is more entertaining than olympic horse riding and can be learn by everyone because it is cheap and accessible
@@VCseesaiAnd they not even have time to practice. That’s pure sepak takraw technique. Imagine give them sometimes to practice teqball and they’re back with their prime.
The playing skills of the Thai players are due to playing Sepak Takraw, a sport they've been playing in Asia for 500 years. Teqball is 500 years late, heh.
Came here looking for the original clip after seeing a viral tiktok clip about this amazing match. So proud of the Thai team and their acrobatic skills.
These Thai players are sepak takraw players. This is a popular sport in Southeaat Asia. Here is a short clip of this sport ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-wJuRvHk9Zco.html
Every province of Thailand played kick volleyball or we called Sepak takraw. In the evening, many people finish work and use the parking lot to play sepak takraw. because it is a sport that does not require a lot of equipment. Including children in rural areas we don’t have playgrounds or toys, so Sepak Takraw is a popular sport besides football.
I won't be surprised if this kind of acrobatic attack will get banned, as it's newly introduced by the Thai players. There seem to be no other countries in the west aware of this techniques adopting from Sepak Takraw in the SE. I will be sad if it is banned (as the other countries might use the health and safety policy to be a main reason). As Thai and ex-Sepak Takraw player, I am proud of these Thai players.
@@l06pual Countries that claim human rights Likes to make rules, he tries to take advantage of others. Just let the country itself defeat the original owner. I just hope to be accepted by the whole world
Nicely done🎉 we definitely need to see and learn more technical techniques from the southeast Asian style. I personally feel the t ball will now becoming more interesting for the audience rather than just watching the old same head banger’s. Credits to the Thai on this one.❤
They were eliminated, but they knew there was this sport in the world. This time I think they just came to say hi. But next time, what do you think they will come for? Haha 😅🔥🔥
I hope the committee will not amend the rules to ban sepak takraw aerial technique. It would be ugly if someone protested against Pele's goal with an aerial bicycle kick. Viewers may mistakenly believe that this sport is designed to champion Europeans and Latin Americans. As for Asians or sepak takraw athletes, it's just an excuse for this sport to be a world-class sport, but it's not allowed to be a champion by issuing rules that reduce the beauty and creativity of this sport.
I am a native Thai, Just in case anyone who interested in shoes worn by the Thai players. The brand is "Nanyang"👈🏻 Pretty sure this brand will get popular over this sport in the near future😉.
It is a new sport for us Thai people. A very used skill from Sepak Takraw. Next time I'm sure we Thais can do better. We are glad that foreigners like Thai skills. I hope to make you know more about Thailand through this sport. Besides Muay Thai and Thai food. Thank you.
@@mamadavin5874 This sport is a combination of two nations. Sepak is Malay. (I don't understand the meaning of Sepak.) But Takraw is Thai...meaning it's made of wood and shaped for kicking (small round shape from weaving)
When I saw this sports clip, I felt it was normal. When I read the comments, I realized that you guys were wow! with it. Maybe that's because I've seen this since I was born. If the rules do not change and every nation develops their skills to compete I think it will be more wow in the future with this sport.
I recommend you to see Takraw. You'll be even more excited about it because each score happens so quickly, in a fraction of a second or in the blink of an eye.
OHH MYY GOD WHEN I SEE THAT STANCE OF THAILAND THE WAY THEY SERVE THE BALL IT GAVES ME A " SEPAK TAKRAW " AURA VIBES THEY ARE CHAMPION FOR SO MANY TIMES HERE IN SOUTH EAST ASIAN . WITH THIS LEGENDS SPORTS ONLY IN ASEAN . MY COUNTRY CAN'T EVEN BEAT THEM MAYBE IN ONE SET BUT IN THREE SET ? I DONT THINK SO ... ONLY MALAYSIA CAN STAND AGAISNT THEM IN " SEPAK TAKRAW " Sports
With this new technique based on sepak takraw I think they should widen the playing area in future, because the ball bounce quite high and defensive team dont get enough space to recover the ball.
This sport is a good opportunity for sepaktakraw subtitutes to completed more, since being experienced during the tournament is very important. Hope the world play sepaktakraw more, it's a gorgeous and entertaining sport, want to see sepaktakraw in olympics some day.
If you know Tony Jaa.If you have seen The protector movie (called Tom-Yum-Goong movie in Thai). You can see Takraw skill in a scene of movie. Tony Jaa overhead kick a light bumb on a 3 metres lamppost. Moreover he has shown overhead high kick a basketball in NBA stadium. All of them were adapted from Takraw skill.
