yeah ofcourse cant compare with lalettan. Vijay's performance like jail scene in kathi and some of his old movies have some good skills to project, but the audience didn't need movies like thanmatra or any kind of that performance oriented movies from vijay now.. they need that swag from vijay, 'nd thats make the difference... 'nd actor should have his own style, his own way of performance, each actor have his own unique level of performance; how can we say 'if you want to be an actor, you should act like lalettan or mammootty'. the tamil audience need entertainment, they want that celebration, more than acting skills, they expect this from vijay. so when we define an actor as a job, or entertainer, he is definetly a successfull actor. and if he have the same swag, same expression in all movies, still his movies have that blockbuster title, why 'nd if he's a bad actor why he is still a star in the industry??!! Look at prem nazir, i think he almost done same expressions in many movies, right na, look at MGR, they are all good actors naa 'Legends' and we have seen many superstars who lost their balance in the industry due to lack of acting skills but vijay is still there. and filmmakers, producers who associating with vijay looks for business, not for acting skills, the aura is like that..cinema is business too, not only an art. i have my complete respect towards him, 'nd i admire him as a good actor
