The last boss is every mechanic from the first 2 Endwalker Alliance Raids but all at once with some new things sprinkled on top. I really enjoyed that one. I went in blind. Wish I had waited for your guide first, might have prevented my 2 deaths. You make it sound so easy. Thanks.
Absolutely great guide! Thank you for also providing an example for the last boss attacks first form, second form and third form! I was really racking my brain on that one and while i knew the arms indicated direction, my brain just could not compute. Lmao After seeing you do it though, i see much more clearly now how to envision how the attack will come out! :D
Thanks for this guide! I just got through the raid. It's frustrating that my party didn't prioritize rez mages when more than half of the party was down. I was watching the SMN in my party being the last one to be rezzed. It was painful to watch the healers balance healing and rezzing, while the one DPS on the team that can help with rezzing was being ignored.
@@SamsonGrey26 It's the reason I stopped maining RDM, I would say something along the line of "I can Rez fast, but can't heal for sh*t - so I'll get folk up if you keep me alive" and promptly not be healed, and be the last one Rez'd :( Really make you feel good /s
@@neeskeskneesk4004 I cant speak for others, but as a WHM main, when learning, during the heat of the battle, I would zone out and just click on a random DPS when available, not even looking at the role they are. So it isn't so much as cherry picking specific roles, as it is just being overwhelmed in the moment when multiple people are dying and you are trying to stay alive as well as the tank healed. To help myself, I adjusted the role list to have RDM and SMN at the top of the DPS list. Even now in this specific Alliance raid, it is brutally difficult (for me) as i'm still learning it and when I die, it just goes to shit for me cause it's very hard to recover especially with the loss of Mana.
For the full moon attack at 7:35, note that the moonbeams align perfectly with the lines grooved into the floor. Melee can use this to their advantage as it allows them to continue attacking the boss -- you have just enough room to continue your rotation without crossing the grooves -- but you have to be pretty much at max melee range -- and be prepared to move fast as the beams go off. Just don't move TOO Fast -- sprint isn't needed -- or you'll run into the next beam's area early.
Thank you so much for these timely guides. I know people who like going in blind, but my mind can't grasp the mechanics while doing the raid. This helps so much. It even helps afterward when I have trouble with some mechanics. Thanks again!
Your amazing dude!! You got this video finished on the same day with reminders editing. It seems like a long raid bit some say it's fun. I'm going in as a white mage
I still have trouble doing the rotating squares on boss 1 and the hands on boss 4. By the time I get to boss 3, I just follow the crowd cause mechanic overload. Boss 2 is definitely the easier if you remember the melee aoe but I always seem to forget and eat her trident whack. Thanks to this guide I understand a little bit more.
Azyma's fans can rotate either 4 or 5 times, just like in Aglaia. 4 rotations = fans end up where they started. 5 rotations = fans end opposite where they started
I greatly appreciate that you get right to the point of describing the attacks. No lame puns or faffing about, just what you need to know. Thanks fam. :^)
I swear they picked almost the exact opposite order of how threatening the Twelve should seem to put them in boss battles. Destroyer first, Wanderer last...hilarious. A couple were in the middle like Althyk and Halone, but...yeah, amusing.
Funny that this alliance still easier than orbonne. I hate how the difficulty getting easier and easier becuz of casual player. They might think we're braindead.
@@davidbrent2069 This opinion is but an opinion. I could simply say its wrong. If they made the game harder too, I bet you'd leave jsut the same as you suggested the OP commenter to "don't play the game". Imagine being an asshole who tells people to quit. How about you quit playing the game too and leave it for the others who doesn't give a shit about the difficulty?
A guy took a time and effort to make a video to help those in need, some people are slow and not good at games. You don't have to be a dick about it and just move on.
