Hi. Most of my videos are in widescreen except for Westward 1971 and Anglia ITV which use some original footage. The main idea is that if you are watching on RU-vid or a smart tv, it feels more up-to-date. I'm glad that you enjoy watching. Best wishes, Nigel.
Hi. I'm glad you liked this startup. However, it was not to everyone's liking. I think that they were trying to tell me that there is more to the region than just London which I will redress in the future - but it won't be for Thames. All the best, Nigel.
Sad reminder that a great TV station was lost just because one woman didn't believe we lived in a Democracy and were permitted to exercise right to free speech and the public's right to know & be informed!
Considering the ident, Thames did 'toy' with the idea of using 'Oranges & Lemons' at one point. The salute always, vaguely reminds me of 'First Call' on the bugle.
Hi usvalve. All ITV startups were made in 4:3 format. However, I wanted to use widescreen on most of the startups on this channel as this is what viewers experience nowadays and it had not been done before. The only two videos, so far, that are in 4:3 format are Anglia and Westward which use original footage of the 70s. All the best, Nigel.
