New KwaZulu-Natal Premier Thami Ntuli announced a 10-member provincial cabinet.
Ntuli retained only three MECs from the sixth administration, namely
Siboniso Duma who heads transport and human settlement; Nomagugu
Simelane who has retained the health portfolio and Siphosihle Hlomuka
as education MEC.
The kingmaker National Freedom Party walked away with the social
development portfolio.
Meanwhile, the uMkhonto we Sizwe Party in the province says it doesn’t
recognise today’s inauguration.
