Smriti Marak Manipuri is not a tribe it represents people of manipur. There are 33 tribes in Manipur but 60pc is meitei people they are not considered ST but rather in general category. There are schedule cast and obc in meitei community also but not st. And all these songs and movies are from meiteis actually even the language. But yeah you can say manipuri songs or movies. Coz it is understood by all communities in Manipur and serve as medium of communication. Thanks for the love.
