Thani Oruvan is definitely one of the best movies of the year... Amongst all the movies that came out in 2015, this one is one of it's kind and it was refreshing!! If I had reviewed this movie, I would have definitely given 4.5 / 5. The only thing I did not like was the duet song that could have been avoided. We all understand the job of a movie critic... but yaaru sonna critic na verum flaws uh pathi mattum than pesanum nu? This movie and the cast and crew of the movie definitely deserve an applause!!

The film was very good with many messages. Arvind Swamy rocks in the film with his stylish acting. Jayam Ravi also acted well in the movie. Songs and BGM was superb in the film.

Really feeling bad that you gave such a negative review for a good movie. Even I don't like same old love story or mass hero films. But I appreciate different, unique and good stories.This movie is undoubtedly unique and awesome in every way (except those pointless, unwanted songs for this storyline)

A very well structured movie after a long time.. I doubt the credibility of Tamil Talkies reviews lately. Seems to extremely biased. Modern oriented films were not given good reviews. Perhaps, anachi should start watching international films and not only compare new movies with mainstream tamil films. More movies with emphasizing strong characteristics among actors should be appreciated and encouraged.

Blue shirt said that among tamil movies it is one of the best. For the viewers that is the message we should take. the criticism is for the movie makers.

Blue sattai, this is not the right review... This movie is one of the best screenplay in Tamil cinema. Edge of the seat thriller... Hero encounters a great villian and hence he is pulled into the epic battle of nerves....where is hero diluted here? Just for the heck of finding fault you should not say something.... please appreciate whole heartedly for movies which deserve kudos

never talk on organised crime, BGM, voice rendering of the stars, didn't appreciate even the 'small competitions " among their friends when entering dorm scene, only knows talk bad about the bug which is not a flaw in the first place, Sidarth Abimanyu is not always seen alone he got people around him and I don't understand how's that is flaw too. Blue shirt, I am not support you point.This movies is hatrick 4.25/5. This is one awesome movie to watch.

It is not a GPS device and it is an audio bug and they have clearly stated that in the movie. If you watch the movie with the sole purpose of critisising you will end up critisising.

giving a wrong movie review the villain always as guys surrounding him and also the movie script is nice and it doesn't give any bore. from starting to end it was awesome and great. climax of this movie is also great when arvind swamy smiles and shows his finger it was awesome scene... don't miss this movie guys ... see it in theatre

i think the review is fair enough. i don't see him criticizing as such fully , he did talked about the strong points in the movie as well. Arvind was stylish and very well fitted to his role. it was refreshing to see him on the screen and that too in this manner. But i really dont understand why the movie is talked about so much as if its super duper hit ? yes. its a good movie, no doubt about it. the camera, the actions sequences and the dialogues were well executed, Also the song timing was almost perfect to the scenes. But right from the beginning i felt sum thing is missing from the movie . i felt the character development of both hero and the villain would have been done better. Jayam ravi tried best and this is what at most he could do. But he was not able to pull the audience attention even 50 % of what Arvind managed to do. Also, the reason why the other friends of Jayam accompanying him during some of fights was not convincing and didnt make much sense to me ( though the stunts were good only and realistic). Also, is this a thriller movie as some r labeling it?whats the thriller element in it? A thriller movie is how 'papanasam' is, so simple yet so brilliant which made the audience at the edge of the seat till the last minute. I liked this movie as its in anyday much much better then some of the brainless movies like 'vasu and saravananum onna kudichavanga'. But for me its above average. .
