I have no idea how to feel about any of this, it's so calm yet chaotic at the same time? The art style feels like an old cartoon in a way, and the jokes are amazing. I hope this game gets popular cause damn it's so unique
I like the kinda romeo and juliet thing that happens, tiny toms tiny pie and big rons and sons. I think the girl florence(flo has 3 jobs)brought her boyfriend Rob (mop and bring pie filling) i think before the bed ridden boy who likes soup and has superstrechy arms. Number 2 you can catch 2 instances of love making occurring. The mechanic fixing the fish &chips ladies pipes. And the kind couple that invites mc to have soup(bed ridden super long arm)
I thought I was well insane when I heard the gardener guy. I thought "Theres no way that's Laszlo from What We Do in the Shadows!" But it was!!!!! I can't believe he voice acted in this lol

Sexual inuendo the plumber cleaning marges pipes (doing a kissing the taco) and fixing her fryer. Also third time you fall down the chimney, help the gardener open fertelizer, get stuck on clothesline. But before the giant tomato theres the old couple going at it.
I like how in terms of the Art Direction, everywhere you go there's always movement of some sort (animals, bugs, smoke, bubbles, etc). It's like everything is in chaotic disarray all at the same time
I laughed out loud as i played this game - finished it in a day. And sad we don’t get achievements on the switch - but apart from that. Loved the art style, story, gameplay, soundtrack, dialogue and sheer surreal joy of it!
I've been watching this game for like 27 minutes and it really gives me vibes of a relaxing but at the same time bizarre game (But in a good way) the inhabitants of this city are so kind and calm with everyone around them, even if you slap them they respond to you in a funny and calm way, and their artistic style (which reminds me a bit of TAWOG) is quite creative and eye-catching. This is a really great game, i hope there are more like these someday!
Haha, yeah I think the subtitles are definitely necessary for anyone not from the UK. There is also an option for authentic Yorkshire subtitles though!

I imagine the developers with a poster in the wall "ANYTHING CAN GO". Games are meant to be enjoyed
@@grimgrahamch.4157 Yeah, that was weird how we go a whole cutscene dedicated to him being mad at Big Ron, but then never shows up again. There’s a definitely a few characters that could have a bit more done with them, like Colin and Florence, but Tom’s the most obvious, considering characters like Rog and the fish shop owners get something of a decent arc.
it's strange that the yellow fellow keeps laying waste across the town and at the same time he's constantly carrying on with everyone's tasks he looks like he fulfills the petitions accidentally in his path of mischief yet he ends fed up of it just silly british humor on a silly game
I do wish they worked a little more on the audio mixing, the voices are a tiny bit hard to hear sometimes and overlap A LOT, even though I'm British lol
