Whilst I’m not overly familiar with Billy’s work outside of maruki and josuke I can tell from these roles alone that he was a very talented actor and from the outpouring of love from his costars and friends he seems like he was a great person too. Rest in peace billy kametz you’ll be missed by us all
Tbh, when i first saw this vid, i just skipped it. I never heard of Billy Kametz so i thought it was youtubes algorithm happening again. Then i realised that he was one of the VA for Persona 5 Royal and sheild hero. Why am i sad for a person i never knew? its because i never know tat man until it was too late. Rest in peace mate

P5 ROYAL SPOILER WARNING The Third Semester _actually_ changed my life, and it would not have hit as hard had it not been for Kametz’s outstanding voice work. This may sound silly, but I keep remembering Takuto’s reality whenever I hear about real-world tragedies. What happened to Billy is the exact kind of pain that Maruki wished to erase from the world.
I'm glad he was able to impact you like that! I agree with everything you said though: not only is the third semester and Maruki simply incredible, a large part of that was the sheer emotion Billy put into his performance - through P5R actually, not just January and beyond!
