Been subscribed to this channel for a very long time, glad you’re still around. I first got into Mac Miller seriously around when Macadelic came out. First heard songs like aliens fighting robots, loud, etc from a little Mexican kid who used to skate and make viral comedic videos named baby scumbag. There was a video where he skated in Mac’s home back in like 2011 and I thought it was dope Mac backed skating. Watching Movies and Swimming are some of my favorites. I got into Mac when he released KIDS and I fell in love with his music from the beginning I used to listen to that mixtape all the time know all the songs from front to back me and my friends listened to him all the time he was basically the soundtrack to our teen years and beyond I have so many great memories to his music with my friends I’m hurt 💔

At first I didn’t like Mac everytime my older put him on I’d tell him to turn it off but once i really listened to him I found his lyrics hit home struggling with addiction is a very hard thing to overcome it’s sad that it took him and my brother, the first song I ever liked from Mac was objects in the mirror his music has changed my life I remember hearing perfect circle/Godspeed and wanted to become sober and now I’m 6 years clean with the occasional beer of course I hope Mac and my brother can meet up there he was his idol as much as mine.

In 2011 I was in middle school and I remember my buddy who wasnt at all into rap (I always have been, mostly young money and gucci mane at the time lol) showed me his song "oy vey" and I immediately got into mac's stuff, KIDS especially and I've been a huge fan since. I'm so happy I got to see him live in chicago in 2016. He played diablo and it was amazing. To this day Faces is my #1 mixtape of all time. Love the channel btw, been following it since like not too long after I got into mac!

Heard Donald Trump when it blew up. I was in like grade 9 at the time, fell in love with Kids, BDE, Highlife, and when I was going through some truly awful times is when he came out with Macadelic. Fell in love with that, that mixtape spoke to me on a very personal level. Then he came out with Watching movies with the sound off, and Faces. Faces man that album changed my life in a spiritual way. That was the music that I needed at the time and it was crazy how I could see myself changing as a person as well as Mac miller. Going from Donald trump to albums like the Divine feminine and faces blew me away. I could never forget what this man has done for me and I wouldn’t be nearly the person I am today if it wasn’t for this fucking genius.
