This is what family is all about. Most families do not come to such a trial, with both parents dying and leaving young children. Many times it is one parent who is absent. But in this family suddenly they found themselves alone, without guidance from any parent, and two of the children still very young. Michel, as the oldest one, knew that there was no question of what would happen. He would not wait and watch them being separated for different foster homes, but decided to keep them all together with him. While he finished growing up and getting his own life established, he was caring for four younger siblings as a parent would. They have all become wonderful adults thanks to his guidance. There were so many ways that they could have come apart and drifted into lives of trouble but that didn't happen with Michel there to keep things together. It was wonderful that Francoise thought of the TV show to tell her brother what he has done for them. It's a beautiful family and I'm sure they will be united forever.
Wonderful deeds indeed from a big brother to sacrifice himself for the guidance of his siblings, acted like a father and mother, fed them like children of his own, helped them to succeed in life, acted like glue for them to be always together and help each other. This big brother to his 4 siblings is a real hero to the family. He made sure his siblings to be successful first before he commit to marry and have his own family this time when he is already old. What a wonderful big brother! Kudos to you!

Watching this family coming together after obviously not keeping in touch after a while but in a short time, they realised that father figure of the eldest brother who took up a responsibility as a young person..to try and keep the family together.. I can imagine the tiredness, patience, struggles of making good decisions...so so many levels of lessons learning and affection acted out. I cannot imagine that words can totally express the thank you! I hope all will keep close. They must value how life is short, so take hold and embrace the chance on giving love.
