What a special pipe! You are special, so you should smoke it when you feel ready! Maybe you could get somebody to take a nice picture of it unsmoked before so you could frame a little picture of it? Or since it’s a wedding gift, maybe you want to take a couple pictures of you with it before your wedding when you guys are all dressed up?
I recently bought a collection of 12 Yellow-Bole unsmoked pipes. When they were made and put on the market they were priced at $2.95 each. Also I've got the original display box from which they were sold. Each piece has the little piece of paper in the bowl and the price tag ($2.95) on the stem. I'm having the same problem as you-to smoke or not to smoke- that is the question !
