Steven Universe is such a revolutionary show. It gave us characters and backstory no other cartoon dared to toy with! It showed the struggles of losing someone you love in a deep way other than showing the characters getting over it in a day. It showed the conflicting feelings of finding and coming to terms with who you are and what someone expects out of you. Steven Universe brought so many people together and created such a good community. The golden age of cartoons is over and now all that is left are bad shows like teen titans go and the reboot of thunder cats. Adventure time is over, gravity falls is over, we bare bears is over, and the shows that showed potential got cancelled like ok ko let’s be hero’s. I get that some people didn’t think it was good but I loved it. Steven Universe didn’t just set the bar for cartoons, it IS the bar for cartoons. Maybe one day Cartoon Network will redeem itself and make more awesome shows. But for now we will just have to keep praying that the alright shows like Craig of the creek, mao mao, and summer camp island will create a new era and become something greater. After all... shows don’t start out awesome, there is always some filler. Even Steven Universe had filler in the beginning, the shows first words were NOOOOOOOOOO! So even if it’s over, everyone will always remember the masterpiece that is Steven Universe. In the great words of Greg and Steven Universe, if every pork chop were perfect, we wouldn’t have hot dogs. Edit: Ok, were inside another golden age. Go watch Amphibia and The Owl House AND The Ghost and Molly Mgee.

NOBODY TALKIN ABOUT HOW GOOD THIS IS LIKE WTH GIANT WOMEN IS SO GOOD-

I understand that Steven Universe isn't the best show to walk on this earth, and I understand that it has a lot of flaws, but the biggest problem with the criticism regarding Steven Universe is that the critics try to do everything they can to ruin a fan's experience. Despite how valid criticism may be, almost every video I've seen regarding the issues with Steven Universe is incredibly intense. They try to shame fans of the show for liking it, and try their best to stop you from enjoying the show. I've never understood how anybody saw that as "doing them a favor." Sure, now we understand that there are flaws with the show, but why do you need to go any farther than that? Why do you need to go out of our way to try and stop us from enjoying what we enjoy? I can still like a show, even if it's bad. Plenty of critics are so fueled by their hatred of the fandom that they think the fandom defines the majority. "I know there are *some* people who are nice in the fandom", "I know that there are a FEW fans that are good people", etc. That's just not the truth. It's a given that the internet makes the minority louder. We don't all need to have our eyes opened to the "terrible" reality of this show. You can call it bad, you can hate the show, nothing is stopping you from having that opinion. So why do you feel the need to stop us from having our opinions? And before anyone says it, I do understand that I am being hypocritical by saying that this behavior is present in a lot of the critics while also saying that they shouldn't define the worst aspects of the fanbase as the majority. I know that a lot of critics did used to like the show, and I know that there are plenty of critics who actually made this criticism in hopes to see their criticism applied for the betterment of the series. Although as I have said, the internet has made the minority louder. Which unfortunately results in these more intense critics being given more recognition than the ones that truly want to be constructive.

at first it was just some silly adventures. then the interesting plot points came. suddenly everything become so deep you could fall into it... then the angst started to roll in... he started to grow up. and now he's moved out, on his own, grown up, gone. good luck out there steven. we love you.

I haven’t watched Steven universe yet. I wasn’t big on TV back when it was on. I’ve only seen the episode where Steven chases after everyone with the perfect breakfast. Even just one episode and this show is obviously one of the best shows ever made. It’s sad to see it go, but it’s good they didn’t drag it out like the simpsons. May it forever live on with repeats and sad nights getting lit up by Steven and the crystal gems. I’m going to binge this entire show, because it looks amazing. why can’t everything be like this. thank you, SU for changing so many peoples lives for the better, and about to light up my sad nights for a while.

When I saw this show first air a few years ago I thought I was stupid and I was 8 or 9. Now I’m 13 almost 14 and wish I kept up with the show. I binged all of it along with the movie and future and now ima do close to just breaking down because this was such a good show and I was able to relate to Steven so much.

It would always bring a smile to my face to see Steven livving his best life. Pearl sometimes was just a mood, amethyst was just always amazing, lapis was more of a mood Rudy is just pure, Sapphire is just butiful, Garnet was always just sitting there like she own the place cuz she does, and finally Peridot was like a little angry slice of pie Sorry for a Rant I just miss this show and wanted to talk about it

my little cousin was watching some show that was on cartoon network but nothing compared to the shows I watched when I was his age. so I told him he should watch steven universe. and this kid said "what's that?" I face was shocked so i blessed this child by showing him an episode and now he's obsessed. I was so proud patted my head and said "you did good older cousin."

I remember first watching this show. I knew, for sure, that I'd found my next obsession. But it evolved into something more meaningful than an obsession. It involved into a memory that I will carry with me for the rest of my life. Past my childhood, even when I'm a boring adult. I'll remember Steven, his optimistic attitude, and perhaps one of the most important lessons he has taught me: "Life and death and love and birth, And peace and love on the planet Earth. Is there anything that's worth more than peace and love on the planet Earth?"

Steven Universe was an amazing show, even though i was only able to watch it fully back in December, i did watch some episodes back in 2016 due to jailbreak and stronger than you. This show honestly gives me happiness and i'm really sad it ended, but happy i was able to spend the past 6 months getting super deep into the fandom. I recently just bought the entire series on DVD(The movie, the first series, the “Future” series) and my mom said that it was a waste of money but the nostalgia and joy I get from watching it is ✨IMMACULATE✨

There aren't really words to describe my sadness that its over, happiness that it happened, and nostalgia for hearing this song mix...the thought of how steven grew up with us and how we'll never get to see those characters mature anymore...and yet knowing steven is off somewhere on those mountains finding himself and discovering himself makes me happy....and yet I still cry remembering all the good times I had watching him as a kid

I grew up with Steven, and legit after the series ended I ended my cable subscription, cuz SU was the only thing I watched on TV. I'll miss watching new episodes with the Lapidot Cafe, and talking about them with my friends. After this year, I'm going to college, and parting ways with most of my high school friends for a while. I remember this show being all about Cookie Cat's, Bagel Sandwich Backpacks, and wholesome dad and son moments. Miss those days, miss this show.

“be right by your side, be right by your side, be right by your side no matter what......”, Steve Universe has brought me joy and happiness, when the future was coming, I got so elated and I couldn’t wait, and all of the episodes were worth it and the end made me cry, just looking at Steven pursuing to his dreams, and finally growing into a normal phase which a normal teen should have already had, unfortunately, his mothers setbacks, the crystal gems and him had to face them all, leaving Steven not learning and developing is normal childhood and effecting his teen life as a 16 year old, he had only purpose on helping or figuring out mysteries and the unknown, he really didn’t have any educational periods on his life except for some discoveries of nature or what society is, really his main 4, history, mathematics, English, and science is blocked away from him, and he couldn’t progress what a 13-14 year old should be learning and discovering, and past time changing good peoples hearts about earth and what happened, the monsters were spared or fixed, although he didn’t have the education as usual humans do, Steven dealt with so much trauma, just as Connie’s mom said in the hospital, some people say the show was ruined in season 4 when really we discovered more new things in the show, and surprising news about Rose being Pink which was interesting and shocking to me, and all in the end, he was going to start what he had to from the start but was stopped by all of the great stumbling blocks that the missions and fights were happening, in the end he thinks he’s a monster since in many episodes he’s feeling horrible about himself saying he’s to blame for everything, however the crystal gems think that he’s innocent but his inner persona is a monster on what he thinks when he helped all of the people who were there with him, changing *his* heart now, and they did leaving me in tears on what they were saying references to the Steven universe that made me cry, for example when Pearl says,” you don’t have to hide anything from me!!” while clinging to Steven, that reminds me of the horrible past of Pearl being left behind by her owner Pink diamond/Rose that she even mentions that Rose/Pink diamond doesn’t hide anything from Pearl, and this scene just cracks me up with tears and seeing that episode the pre-last episode, and I love the ending with him going to into the road, and it made me think: ...............It’s over.....isn’t it?
